Fear from birth to death. Fear of being lonely. Fear of not being accepted. Fear of failure. Entire lives based on time and the future...until death arrives and only then we understand what Krishnamurti is begging us to understand - A more peaceful and sacred life comes by living in this moment and being self aware. I love this man and his message and it is nourishing me during this time of uncertainty and isolation. Peace. Light. Love.

Seeing things are they are is the simplest life for human beings; but it is difficult, because of the long-term habits of interpreting things and mutual enhancement. What a sight!

Unfortunately, you are exactly what he is speaking of, your idea, your preconception, your prejudice. K might say... it is the doing which is the reality. Just by writing this to you, I violate my own advice. In the largest perspective, everything is showing it self for exactly what it is. In a single moment everything is perfect. It is time and memory and fitting the world into our individual frame of reality that is the distortion. let all be what it is, take care of yourself.

Listening is so automated that it is correlated with verbally understanding a sentence. What Krishnamurti is referring to is to go on knocking down automatisms (denying them), psychic molds, allowing oneself the freedom that such a thing can happen. I listen to someone who tells me: "I do not share your opinion, I am in favor of making an effort and looking for my place, without being cowed". I hear it in that way they used to tell us in school, "going up in the clouds", I would almost say rambling, almost forgetting the person (an "I") in front of you. Then, that dialogue generates something, something complex, but round, without tensions; it includes all the logical movement of thought, be careful! it is simultaneous, all that "rambling listening" is nothing more than the glimpse to the undivided totality of the now. The implicate order, in the words of David Bohm, the cosmic intelligence. A voice in this ethereal and timeless reality, says: "opinions! We live by opinions! And what about the opinion-generating mechanism, i.e. thought? Would it be coherent to focus on opinions about it? Once we reach this absurd dialogue, wouldn't time itself come to an end, because we would fall into the now? From an innocuous and boring dialogue, pure creativity has sprung. A new order has been created.😊

If only this seventeen minutes of enquiry could bear fruit. To listen, see and learn without immediate verbal interpretation. It is the true nature of individuality. No authority except your own sensitivity. So much bull**** would disappear from our lives. The laughable trash of identity politics and contorted psychological theories.

Superb speech...I think we should all try it for as much time as possible and find out what happens...in any case everybody is going to die and scientifically there is no life after death..so we can use whatever time we have to observe ourselves as we are every instant without trying to achieve something in the future or remember something about the past ...then maybe we can find out what we are at this instant!!

sorry for asking, but does this mean each time you catch yourself f.e. being jealous, you just recognize it, catch it at that moment and stop that thought/emotion immediately. don't analize it don't try to become the opposite. cause you activate what? just another reaction on autopilot/ programming of the subconscious mind? by immediately stopping that thought of being jealous, you keep the mind away from processing it?? so there must be no time/action involved in this whole process to actually get rid of that thought ?? the mind doesn't get involved but what other mechanism comes trough, i would love to understand this..thank you for helping me out on this
@push19994 жыл бұрын
The mind is instrument which we are using to justify our motives/choices. There exist perception/seeing before the mind is used by us every moment. there is a sight before the all processes of mind. It is not about justifying jealousy, which is not about creating philosophy to feel ok with jealousy, which is not about condemning jealousy for to identify our self with some better version of ourselves. There exist a perception before the mind comes to exist. Mind is instrument/capability which we use to fulfil our motives of feeling ok, or feeling victim, feeling right about ourselves.
