Just remembered I had this saved, referenced a few things, and had the best jam on my synth in ages. I usually make ambient textures with lots of chaotic modulation, which can be really hard to make sound pleasant and not a jumbled muddy mess. THANK YOU so much! This is by far the best tutorial video on the BSP. Just gotta build up the muscle memory by using it more. I could never have something so powerful and easy to play in Eurorack, and I love my synth time not looking at a computer monitor. Just knobs, cables, and my BSP.

Hello Fernando, thanks a lot for this EXCELLENT tutorial. I'm using BSP since one year, so I consider I "master" it, however they're useful tricks, in particular PRST LINK (I don't understand why Arturia doesn't name it "PATT. LINK" instead!) I regret these things concerning BeatStep Pro: - Pattern isn't automatically saved (when edit, a "dot" follow pattern number), so if you change pattern, previously edited pattern(s) is/are lost if not saved! - Need to press/hold multiple buttons at the same time (3, sometimes 4), is a pain! - The "reset to factory" process is just ridiculous (and too long). - The ON/OFF switch is too small. - Velocities on pads (you must press very hard on them to obtain a high velocity). Except weak points described above, this hardware is perfect. I'm using it mainly from Bitwig Studio 4/5, and VCV Rack 2.

Hello ! Tell me, please, is it possible to combine several different chains into one song, so as not to switch manually? For example: I have sequencer sequence number 1: 1-2-3-4 which repeats 4 times, then 5-6-7-8 (4 times) followed by 9-10-11-12 (2 times). It is necessary that these events occur one after another, without my intervention.

That's a really great overview, thanks a lot! Am I overseeing something, or is there no way to copy individual steps? (with pitch and velocity) Let's say I want to tie to the next (not yer existing) step, for which I have to enter a new step, but that one defaults to the default pitch, which means I have to dial in the pitch again. And again. And again... For multiple notes. Is there a quicker way or a workaround... Namely copy and paste?

1:32:00 roller. Why did Arturia bury the roller function with shift and step 9 while in control mode? They seem to make very capable devices that are unintuitive to use. 😐 Arturia made the looper function work the wrong way round. Surely it makes more sense to hold the timing button then press the drum sound (like the KO2). Oh well. Thanks for the tutorial.
