I see no reason why we can’t say Christ was the High Priest on earth. The High Priest moves from the tent of meeting, through the holy place, into the holy of holies.

I'd be interested on how he correlates the "burnt-offering" or better translated "Ascension" on the typology with Christ's ascension.

“Sit at my right hand until I make Your enemies Your footstool...” Any chance that you guys think Psalm 18 is the “until” part? The psalm seems to me to have a plurality of prophetic meanings, but He’s certainly coming down in judgement, like in 2 Thessalonians 2.
