The ASEAN Community by 2015

I first saw this animation in 2007 when this was presented by representatives from the ASEAN Secretariat.
The animation tells us about the ASEAN, which is composed of 10 countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.
The ASEAN member states are driven to have one vision, one identity and one community by 2015.
Let us also see what will happen to the newest state in the southeast asian region - Timor Leste - if it will become a member of the Assocation of Southeast Asian Nations in the future.

bahasa indonesia came from Bahasa Melayu baku actually. Indonesia have many culture because they still keeping their hinduism tradition. Malaysia already delete some of hinduism culture such as dance but Malaysia keep their hinduism tradition name "inai" usually wear by woman.

Long ago there was a war between sultanate in the South, to avoid and find freedom many people from the South mostly Indonesia, Malaysia escaped the war by boat and settle in our islands in the Philippines. Chinese also came as merchants/ traders. Proof is our features and dialects not too far from each other.

Back in March, my mother got in a fight with a Filipino family at our local Target. It wasn't because she thought they had the coronavirus; it was because she couldn't understand what the Filipino dad was saying. There wasn't any physical contact, but we both left the store immediately! Mother claims she's not a racist, she respects African-Americans, Latinos, and Chinese people, not to mention she herself is Italian; I think she doesn't realize she was being racist because she asked them if they were Spanish or Chinese when she _knew_ they were Filipino. I guess what I'm saying is that if you are of Filipino, Laotian, Thai, or any Southeast Asian descent, you are cool and not weird at all. What my mother did that day was absolutely atrocious and you shouldn't copy her mistakes. You are beautiful and youse shouldn't let anyone make you feel embarrassed about that. Disputed islands should be ASEAN's territory not by any other nation or by China. Better if we all work together to blow China away from that region then, develop those islands and put people there making a new country. Or make it a place for refugees of future calamities, wars and other disaster may it be natural or man-made. We are targeting peace, prosperity and people. That should be our national interest instead of being selfish and violent toward each other when talking about territorial disputes. -RP
