With item degradation... I'm not sure you want to build an entire class around a single item. But it would be nice to have a play style built around drains and steals much like a blood mage. I would like to see a node pop-up for information such as population, tax rate, type, size, and whether it is locked or not directly from a map rollover or information icon.

i think difficult wave based attacks on nodes or areas of interest of highly important. This game will have open world pvp and the reason people world pvp is because they get bored, they arent being challenged enough by the AI or are being rewarded somehow thats subjective. With reasons to band together I know that I (a world pvper of 15 years on WoW) just want reasons to bring excitement to the open world and fight with my friends against my enemies, If AI was giving that experience to me, id gank alot less. Guild wars 2 and RIFT made great leaps towards this. I didn't mind not having world pvp in gw2 other then instanced pvp because the dynamic events kept things interesting. Id go reclaim bases and help lowbies in areas that were overwhelmed. I just didn't like that the capitol cities were never attacked in such a way that we had to go defend them. I really hope for nodes to also be attacked by armies of npcs that were not being watched closely.
