It's crazy because I think her career *did* get ruined and yet, she's right. The SNL thing was such a small blip in comparison to what she's built, it shouldn't have done nearly as much damage as it did. Plus, she was still just a baby back then and human... It reminds me of how Lana Del Rey received a lot of criticism following her SNL performance. Lana actually sang live, but she suffered stage fright and her singing wasn't that good. Even today, there are people who think she can't sing because of one slip-up. What is it with SNL ruining singers?

Plus so what she had a guide vocal and it was exposed, how many artist out there lipsync all the time! If you were a fan of ashlee you already know the countless number of times she sang live. Her phone call to TRL was so cringey. It sounded like she was calling in sick to work or to school. But She wasn't an established artist back then when it happened. She needs to learn a lot more about music before tryin this ever again...doesnt even understand how instruments play in different keys.
@kaydenevideo5 жыл бұрын
The situation at the high school was not her fault. Her guitarist's guitar was not in-tune for that particular song. This sort of technicality happens and can happen to anyone, as musicians use different instruments for different songs throughout performances/tour. If a certain instrument is tuned and placed on stage and a musician accidentally selects that instrument, or the instrument is tuned to the wrong song, this can cause an entire song to be out of wack for the vocalist and other musicians. Bottom line, this happens. It's fairly common. And in that situation, it was not Ashlee's fault. For the record, she was growing as a person, learning as an artist, and was fully invested. She was doing the best with what she knew at that time. Give her that.
@victoriagarcia55332 жыл бұрын
The issue with the SNL performance was not that she wasn’t singing her song. It Was her reaction and how she dealt with it on stage when the wrong song was playing. She didn’t know what to do and unfortunately that comes with experience. She didn’t have enough experience to deal with that kind of moment and I think that being on SNL as a young performer can be risky.
@usera11132 жыл бұрын
Yeah the thing is that she could have even sang the first song live and could have been about to sing the next one live too but the vocals could have come out of nowhere, revealing that it was just an error
@tammiepage6489 Жыл бұрын
And that goes back to the people like the record company or last of the people behind the scenes it really does cause they should’ve trained her better there that’s their job they supposed to change trained them how to handle mishaps they’ve done that with other artist before, too, they didn’t train her You know cosmos are is because it I think if she kept her going on like they just want to head and put on the right track and she kept going. Maybe wouldn’t have fucked her up so bad, but at the same time she was telling the truth when she said the bands are playing the wrong song because they’re drummers when I hit the wrong track, so it was actually his fault do your research because it came out somebody in her camp said the same thing the drummer hit the wrong thing. Hell him in the jar came out and said that You know if you look online yeah he said that along time ago it was his fault. He hit the wrong track but again she should have been punished for that. That doesn’t take away that she fact she does have some talent. She may not be perfect, but she had a good songs And I don’t think her thought I was that great so I don’t think it was because of the SNL thing I don’t know though in my opinion, I didn’t like it too well, but I stayed listening to her music though I didn’t care that her happen I didn’t judge her
