It would be nice to see a sort of resolution to there story, like Harolds finishing up a page of his journal while drinking in a bar when Vincent stops by out of nowhere to say goodbye to an old friend. No matter how much of that was just to get information I feel like the assassin would still think fondly of there moments together. When he could be a regular person with someone and have a laugh

Long story short, the bounties(bosses) are entities that are brought forth from an immaterial reality to our physical reality. So what we're doing is simply banishing, sending back "biological" material and collecting what energy is left of it. Hence why we are able to use Dark sign to see other players once bounty is collected.
