I was watching this in the hopes of grasping some sense on my Remant from the Ashes playthrough. So, who was the Dreamer and what's his role? I don't get that.

I don't understand how the Dreamer we kill in Remnant From the Ashes is the MC from Chronos. It looks like a child. So how could it be our MC?

Thanks for this. I wanted to experience the lore before jumping into Remnant and Remnant 2 but I found this game to be a real slog lol

I was in the Amazon for a training op once. We were talking to these locals and our interpreter goes "alright there's no way in all holy hell i heard that right." And we all go silent. He says "this guy says his son was grabbed qnd dragged away by a spider" we go probably a week and we hear something go shooting across the path i shit you not i would swear on a stack of bibles there's a spider middle of the path the size of a fuckin coffee table. I don't know how many pictures the one guy took but I wanted to take that damn thing home as a pet.

Man, what an incredibly dark ending for a game with such an inviting presentation.

This game is damn confusing asf in the story swear needs better way of explaining it than Hero went on a jourmey then hero dissapered then you hero goes to find hero 2 and blah blah blah its so fuking jumbled and confusing.

So going off of this, in Rise From The Ashes, the dragon we fight on Earth is Clawbone and the Dreamer final boss we battle is our character from Chronos and that scientist must be Haarsgard. So not much time passes between Chronos and Rise although from rem 2 it's been 20 years since.

So Chronous is the prequel to remnant? 😮

Question: If this happens 100y before Remnant From the Ashes (R1), why does our character not know or possess any technology? They don't know what a key card is, they don't have any firearms, but Harsgaard is already there. (Or who else is that Root-infested doctor in the end?) The only possible explanation I would have for this, is that they are from another world. They may well be human, but they're not from earth, but from another world that was already infested with the Root. But there's more: As we enter Yaesha in R1, the Root had only just begun their advance on the world. If they had nearly 100 years of time, one would think they managed to go further.

I am apparently an idiot. I did not realize it was a prequel. I mean, it is literally in the title. "Before the Ashes" and "From the Ashes." And it literally sets up the story for Remnant! Dumb guy, right here.

My question then is: why are the yeasha and krell worlds so important to the root. If the root conquered the Labyrinth, it would have access to all worlds, so why did it send you to krell and yeasha

Not only are you the Destroyer the being responsible and mentioned in every world that has no Guardian but also the final boss in Remnant 1 crazy storytelling

I only view the undying king when i played remnant as cruel and evil and did not consider his motivations. This video cleared the misunderstandings i have about the undying king, he had to chose and he chose to save his dying world by killing the guardian of another world...kinda like fgo lostbelt hahaha

So your chronos character is who the Pan call the destroyer due to you defeating the guardian and killing lots of their people, then the remnant from the ashes character is the wanderer.

In remnant 2 the protagonist of Chronos is refer as the destroyer and the protagonist of remnant 1 is known as the wanderer

In the light of Remnant 2 now, I was thinking of Ezlan, when Mudtooth told his silly version of this story, calling him the "Veiled King". Ezlan's immortality is actually explained and his character is so much more real now. He is the same as Clementine. He gained the protection of a guardian and became immortal, but not invincible. He made a bad descision and now he is watching his planet die, while he himself cannot and he is disfigured and weak. I was somewhat hoping Clementine can meet Ezlan and he might gives her some sort of advice about her powers.

i have this theory that the final boss in remnant two is actually clawbone and the hero of chronos merged as one. As far as i know the chronos hero is not a dreamer and cant replace the dreamer that also looks just like the dreamer of chronos instead i think the actions of the hero of chronos fully corrupts the dreamer and we kill him and the roots link in ashes. Look how harsgard turns from human into a big monster from the time of chronos to remnant 1 and how remnants twos final boss looks like the clawbone dragon and then in phase two shows a human rooted inside it. Thats why i think final boss of remnant two is actually the chronos hero. I think ford is working with the remnant 1 hero to sever this link

All in all the protagonist is nothing but an idiot who never questions a single time why you should do all those things. Death to him in the form of dreamer and nightmare in Remnant 1 is a fine release.
