For context, 4 of the Loongs you fight, including the first one in the video and the hidden boss in the sand storm, are sons of another Loong King that was killed because of stupidity. Yuan (the gourd guy) is a signteller, he can predict the timings and volumes of rainfall (amongst other things). Loongs are responible for rainfall and rivers. The old Loong wasn't happy about him knowing more than himself and wanted to prove him wrong so he rained late and less than what was ordered by the Jade Emperor so he was beheaded. His four sons (guardians of 4 rivers) were told they were to be punished too, so they fled and hid. That's what this loong was talking about, he wants to break away from this doomed destiny.

Beat Erlang today. Didn’t even know you can cheese with Rock lol, my fav transformation was Yin tiger and every time he transforms into his bird form and insta takes it out, thought it would be the same for all the others so I just…didn’t use transformation lol, only reason I won was the perfect timing for using clones and trying mana management

Can be done. 100% spell binder player here. I haven't seen anyone do the the thing I do to beat his 3rd phase. Game is much different and feels different when you don't use any spells.

she got true ending tho.. better than many of youtubers who just rush to end game... those without patience cannot achieve the real meaning of Journey to the WEST.. that is the lesson from the game and the story too... cause wukong can leap to the end of world and he found nothing there... it was empty because you need to walk step by step challenge by challenge that patience and proocess is the true essence of Journey to the West this game too ifyou dont do 100% completion like opening all the secrets and just rushing to the end game you get nothing / bad ending... you wont see this Wukong rejecting the crown

To people attempting to fight erlang, do NOT use elemental attacks on him. Whatever element you use on him will be absorbed by him and he will infuse his blade with it for the ENTIRE FIGHT. If you transform, you MUST doge his transform attack as it will transform you back into yourself if it hits. The only exception is the rock guai, as he will not attack at all as he knows that attacking you will charge up your bar for the skyfall spell.

That's very good fight, can see you are using Non Able which can join to the next step of light attack, normally I only use it at step 4, so I can join a jump smash twice. Non Empty can be very interesting as well, it can join a resolution smash.

@@abcJ-q4v much better performance/graphics ( you're locked at 60 fps on console, i've been playing a 100 +fps throughout the whole game). On PC you can also download mods to further improve performance, enhance graphics ( by using unreal 5 high definition shadows instead of the ugly low res ones that are used when ray tracing is disabled, or chosing which post processing effets to use) For controler i think you can use anything, i personally used an Xbox one
