Sorry to bother you, but you should definitely check out a game called Starsector. It's a little bit like if Space Rangers were remade into a more modern game and had 10 years worth of active development to refine the product, and maybe throw in a hint of Mount and Blade: Warband. It had a bit of a learning curve, but it's so very well made, and the combat is fantastic.

I loved this game I just wish there was a bigger difference between planets. Like Glacio is my favorite because it has an interesting terrain with big flat surfaces. Other planets just have different color pallettes. I realize it must be really difficult to integrate variaty when you have a mechanic like terraformable terrain though.

Nice video. I've been playing Astroneer with a few friends since it was in pre-alpha. Without a doubt, it has come along way. The multiplayer is rough at times but they are working on dedicated servers. System Era is very close to its community and is constantly working on the game.
@simontitus48674 жыл бұрын
Astroneer is such a great game, ive me and a buddy bought it when it was in open Alpha on steam and fell in love with it. Back then it was way less overall content but it was still a lot of fun. At some point we stopped playing and now after a long time we started playing it again. Its insane how well made the game is now. One thing you may should've covered is the unlocking of a Teleportation station. Its always so damn satisfying to have this Sound effects and the visuals when you onlock one. But to be fair, its good you didnt take away most of the gameplay and great moments in this game. I think the best aspect of the game is just exploring how all of the things work, trying to figure out what you do witht his weird temple, Figuring out you could teleport from planets, exploring this crazy Space hub, etc.

The reason he didn’t go over it is because it’s a thing most Astroneer veterans keep secret from newbies. You shouldn’t have commented it tbh, even on the Reddit no one mentions it

I'm playing astroneer since the betas and always love it. I strongly agree that the lack of objective was a barrier in the beginning. But after some hours of mining and crafting, everything connects and the game shines. I eventually drop the game after achieve to make every machine, stay a couple of months without play and return to another adventure from scratch after see some update or interesting vídeo. Like your review. Very good editing and text. I think its time to return to Sylva again. Thanks.

When you mentioned The Martian Movie I had Flashbacks to a story....... Basically, Two of my friends and I went to Novus to gather our first Iron (yes we were idiots for not going to Glacio). One of my friend's game crashed. My other friend and I met up and established a base. We found NO Iron, so we decided to go to a different part of the planet. The moment we went into orbit, our thruster broke, trapping us on Novus. The friend who's game crashed was the worst one out of all of us, so I had to coach him to make the things to get to Novus and back. He did and we made it out. This is exactly like the martian but we had more people on Novus (Mars). Thanks for reading my story, and I hoped you enjoyed it.

6:35 NEVER DIG A HOLE. It will cause your materials to fall through the ground into the caves. At least it did for me and my friend on our multiplayer world. 10:23 You only need to visit a tungsten world and Glacio for iron and argon, and make the trade platform and shredder to then trade for all the other resources, and Atrox for all other gasses. Actually, you can find abandoned resources with some luck, so only Glacio and Atrox are necessary to make everything in the game (and of course Sylva for hydrogen and starting position).
