There are just too many topics that we have to decide on as a community for everyone to have anything close to an educated opinion. I have no business telling prefessional electricians what gauge wire they should use for a project. Nor should I be telling farmers how to breach birth a calf. Everyone should not have a strongly held belief on every topic. Each person should have areas and topics where they say "I don't know anything about that, we should do what ever the experts suggest." First caller doesnt realize not all US Founding Fathers were theist or deist, some were even complete non believers..Jefferson was only a deist who said all the magical claims about Jesus were nonsense and the gospel of John incoherent drivel by a mad man.

He's fallingalloverhimself stupid and you're falling for that empty smirk of his. Let me ask you, Are you evolving? REALLY? Did your parents & their parents evolve? What about your offspring; are they going to evolve? Why have humans, plants & animals not had any new anatomy (evolution) in 10,000 yrs? Like it or not, there's no evidence for evolution and no proof it's even possible. It's nothing but atheist desperation. We see IN REAL TIME flower bloom. We see IN REAL TIME gravity. We see IN REAL TIME reproduction. We see IN REAL TIME sunshine. NEVER have we seen evolution. Think about it. Now squirm to try to get past ALL THESE FACTS that debunk evolution.

It is ironic that John from CO, said that people do not listen and then he does not listen. And I apologize for all of Great Britain for Joseph. And I wonder what an Atheist cell is?

Loved Forrest s enthusiastic understanding of human nature. I imagine the very first self aware orgainsm that popped into existence , thought I AM before WHO CREATED ME and was therefore atheist, for a while atleast

I think Forrest and JMike would be a powerhouse combo. The philosophical and Science juggernauts could take any argument down!
@Triobian2 жыл бұрын
If watching this show has taught me anything, you don't even need to be a juggernaut to tackle the vast majority of calls. Just being a decent human being will cover most of them.

I have to add my voice to the chorus. Forrest Valkai is a godsend! (Pun very much intended.) I love AXP, and obviously I appreciate that all of the hosts contribute something important, but the combination of knowledge, enthusiasm, and kindness exhibited by Forrest is truly unmatched. Thank you for a fun and exciting episode.

This was pretty good.. Good callers and Forrest n Matt is a rocking combo.... Only beef is that the better ones still were the atheist callers... Theists even seem little dishonest like the guy who couldn't answer a straight question....
@seanjones24562 жыл бұрын
I have found that the fact that they are dishonest and find it difficult to answer a question, are reasons why they believe things without evidence.
@TheUnrulyMonster2 жыл бұрын
@@seanjones2456 I don't know... I feel that these people are brainwashed by fear that if they somehow don't believe in God when they die, then they are doomed forever in hell... This then prevents them from having any kind of open conversation...

I actually enjoy listening to theists duck and dive or try reading their script.

I think the guy you are referring to might have just not heard any arguments convincingly brought directly in front of him before, he might also have a learning disability. I think he was very honest in his wish to find out the truth of things though.

Forrest is fantastic! He's the reason I found this channel. He's got a great way of dealing with difficult people and make it fun and entertaining. Matt you need to chill. You get angry too quickly. If you find yourself telling your callers to "shut up" you lose (even though you're right). Better to calmly tell your caller it's time to move on to the next caller.

Poor John from the UK didn't have a clue what he was talking about. If the World's depth of knowledge on maths and physics (probabilities and atomic structures) was a meter deep, he wouldn't scratch the surface. Yet, his conclusion was, "There must be a god". Brilliant!!
@Daremo69692 жыл бұрын
Well, God of the Gaps isn't a new thing, it's a general go to for people who can't answer the reason why. It's why flat earthers think the earth is flat. They deny reality and push fantasy, usually for attention or money (or both).

John from CO, the Bible is not history, it's a collection of fables which are set in an historical period. Whether it actually happened has to be demonstrated not asserted.
