Thats easy to say. Sometimes they talk like injuries either leave you at 0% or 99%. If a dude is injured and still decides to go out there to help his team he has every right to point out the reason for his subpar performance. I get the mental side because if you go in with an excuse already baked in it affects your performance, but if its a legitimate reason you should be able to say it, because the media and fans are going to make up stories about your performance anyway. Injury-shaming is dumb to me.

*John Collins starts to be one of the best power forwards in the game, and I don't feel he gets the recognition he deserves* . If we are not counting tweeners (KD, Tatum, Tobias etc) than he's definitely top 5 power forward in the league right now - with no particular order you have Giannis, Sabonis, Randle, Collins and Zion. I think Collins needs to call Karl Malone and and work on those guns of his in the off-season, because the one area he lacks in is his strenght, making him liability against good post players (which are dying species to his advantage). In fact I thought he would be a little overshadowed by Cappela, because of the number of lobs both catch, but they complement each other in every other area. I'm looking forward to watching Hawks in the years to come. I hope they can keep Trea, Collins and Cappela as the core for this team.

@@nebojsanjegovanovic8429 it's not me. For me both of them shoulda got thrown out. But to the refs jokic looked worse because he fouled the man in the face, didn't apologize and then wanted that smoke with devin booker. I have to give credit to Embiid. Even though he’s hurt he was a monster on the glass with those 21 boards. As well as trae with 25 points and 18 assists. Some insane numbers from those guys.

Stop watching basketball..go back to NASCAR.. TRAE got 25 POINTS but was horrible he was shooting 30%, 8/26 FG and 3/11 from 3 point line... And 10 of his 18 assists are passes to a shooter that is just 4 feet away from you, ANYONE can do those 10 assists...and he also had 1 fake assist that NBA likes to put some extras just to break the records and they can sell it as another record broken... Passing the ball to a guy that posts up his defender while dribbling the ball and then driving to the rim after that isnt an assist..
