Born in the late 70s, we assume will have NO pension or retirement. We will work until we die. We pay for Boomers to live great retirements knowing the we will have none. WE ARE ALL ON A FIXED INCOME.

Project 2025: Women of America, never forget who were the ones that did this to you, and who gives anyone that right to make that decision for you. Pro-choice pro-democracy pro-equality, wouldn't it be more than fair to say, comer doesn't have a leg to stand on, he just has a big mouth, spending millions of our tax dollars on BS, I'm definitely voting straight ticket Democrat. trump/vance are going to feel our wrath coming this November. Kamala Harris for President. 100%

The fear tactic that we could lose democracy is wild.

It might be a fear tactic for some propaganda outlets, but I don't think that's an accurate view of the mainstream media. The MSM treats moderate Republicans and Democrats as the _protagonists_ in the story of American politics, because they're sober about Trump and assume everyone else is too. The first problem with this is it leads them to overreport on the horse race -- what interviews Harris does, whether she's losing support, what the polls say -- instead of focusing on outcomes. I could never vote for Trump, but I still want to know more about what a "bloody" mass deportation program would look like. How would you round up every person living in America without documentation? Does that include Dreamers, or parents of Americans, or people who've been here for decades and pay taxes? Would they be detained in camps? Who would be willing to serve in a second Trump administration? Secondly, I think it gives way too much leniency to people who claim to support him. Every single Republican official who supports Trump should have to answer the same questions about corruption that Trump himself avoids. Do they think President Trump's pardons were appropriate? Do they know what exactly he asked Vice President Pence to do on January 6? (Mike Pence has said that we was asked to unconstitutionally reject official votes.) Do they wish the Capitol Police had acted differently on January 6? (Trump often complains that Ashley Babbitt was shot and that rioters didn't have firearms.) When did they find out about the fake elector scheme? (JD Vance has suggested using "dual slates" of electors as a pretense to stop the transfer of power -- i.e., official results and fake ones.) We don't hear much of President Trump's side of the January 6 story, either from him _or_ his surrogates. And it's important to hear from them on this issue, because _they're_ on the ballot too.

They were saying the same in 1932 Germany. Research the "Enabling Act."

@@railrodemike Lol are we comparing this election or time in history to 1932 Germany?

I am from Germany, i have a pretty good and deep knowledge about our own History, especially with how Hitler came to power. Yes, i am comparing your election this year to 1932 and rightly so. Reminder: Hitler didn't grab Power, he was elected democraticly. I read a big chunk of his Project 2025 playbook, plus his character overall, that combination is the perfect reciept for the end of your Democracy. And this time, no one, NOT A SINGLE AMERICAN, can say "i didn't know" or "i didn't see this coming". The signs are all there, you just need to take a step back and educate yourself outside of you comfort zone.
