Former Goodison stars Leon Osman and Kevin Sheedy insist Blues will quickly fall in love with Everton Stadium.
The legendary duo recently paid a visit to the Club’s future home, where they took in the view from pitch level, before experiencing the newly-installed rail seating in the south stand.
Rail seating encompasses each seat being accompanied by a robust metal frame that forms a waist-high rail for spectators in the row behind. These frames, installed on a permanent basis with the same spacing as standard seats, interlock to form a continuous high-strength rail along the full length of each row.
And both Sheedy and Osman were wowed by the views on offer as they experienced the 13,000-capacity stand, which features a super riser half-way up to provide a natural ‘barrier’ between the safe standing of the lower tier and seated supporters in the upper, while giving the impression of one giant wave of Evertonians.

I've just visited this stadium today. I've come from New Zealand, the man on one of the gates was so nice and he let me take a better photo without encroaching on the work area. Thank you. I was amazed at the size. You can't really appreciate how big it is until you stand up close. Amazing.😮

I visited last month, there is a viewing platform behind South stand, took great photos. Did you see it? Some volunteers made a museum of the North docks in a steel container & erected scaffold platform with donation box & even a Gwladys St sign, interesting guys .Even had drink at Bramley Moore pub. I'm Hajduk fan but Everton favourite English team, tourists mostly ignore Everton but not now with this stadium. Will get to see Everton play there but hopefully at Goodison final time - Hope you do also 💙🤍 UTFT from Split

I moved out of Liverpool in 21019, and every time I go back home, I am blown away by the progress that has been made with this stadium. The Grand Old Lady will be missed, but this new chapter will be special, and I can’t wait to experience it UTFT 💙

I was in the Kemlyn Road stand for the Rolling Stones gig last year and the seats were the most cramped I've ever seen and I go to all Everton's away games. If the new Everton stadium had rows like that the capacity would be nearer 70,000
