@drewrobertwinter7648 What, like when he confirmed that the arachnids did in fact launch the meteor strike on Earth when in the film it's actually pretty ambiguous? I know what the director says about the film but at times it seems like he hasn't even watched his own movie, the Federation is so blatantly utopian and un-repressive that just about the most authoritarian action taken by anyone is wearing Hugo Boss uniforms. There's also the conflict of interests where the screenwriter actually has read the book and enjoyed it, and translated its utopian future honestly while the director intended (and failed) to make a satire.
