love all the throwbacks! you just being you really inspires me, as someone who has quite recently realized i’m autistic as well. how did i miss it? probably because i had zero understanding of what autism actually was and thought everyone was just coping with life better than i was i guess. though i do believe that there are way more autistic people in the world than we think there are, especially with how big of a spectrum it is. anyway, all this rambling to say that you being your authentic self and just doing you really encourages me to do the same and not be self-conscious about unmasking when i’ve been so high masking my whole life. especially when masking really harms me 😅

I just purchased an iPod. I am out of town and cannot wait to get home to try it out. I almost cried when they discontinued them. So happy to have one back in my life. I understand streaming and listening via phones and such, but I just want my music in one place. Enjoy yours!

Is very funny, your summer stickers inspired me and I revived my old iPod nano 5th gen this past week because I finally found a cable for it. I am glad that some of us are reviving past technology. I currently have 9 songs in it because I was feeling overwhelmed trying to add the info and lyrics.

I found my old iPod about a month ago and have been obsessed with it ! It still has all the music I had on it when I was a kid. Also, the new desk setup looks super good! I'm currently literally using an outdoor folding table as my desk ;-;

New Tamagotchi looks awesome! You're right about the gross colours though. I don't know why they only have two colour options. Older gens have soo much more variety :(( Also I wanted all of that cute Halloween stuff! I can't wait for spooky season!

I am so pleased with the new Tamagotchi Uni! It’s been so fun. I did have to do some surgery though because I also couldn’t stand the colors. I swapped the back piece, face plate, and buttons so the colors are a lot less aggressive to my eyes (I also hate pink so now my purple Uni has no pink) 🙌🏼

It's nice you can get out in walk in the summer. Here it's hot as hell, super high humidity, and terrible air quality thanks to the non-stop Canadian wildfires. I re-did my entire PC/desk/audio/monitor setup a couple years ago and after I had upgraded everything I realized I bought a desktop that is WAY too small. Live and learn...

I've been using an IKEA table top as a desk for 3 years now. I do love it's thickness and depth, I actually just got a smaller desk to go beside it to be L shaped. I wish the desk shelf you listed or something similar was available in the US, I can't find anything like it

About the tamagotchi uni; what do you think about replayability/longevity? I'm loving what I've been seeing, but I'm scared it's fun for like 3 tama's and then gets repetitive. Of course it's still brand new but just curious about your initial impressions in that regard!

The desk can be whitewashed and it will take the yellow out immediately. Just watered down paint. If your desk has some sort of polyurethane on it, you would have to sand it off first, though.

I get what you mean about "the new thing" while being technically better feels a bit uncomfortable in the beginning.. just moved house, and while its technically a better place, it took me a while to adjust. Other autistic youtuber Plumbella once phrased their feelings about change "change makes me anxious even when its good change" and it's a mood, honestly. I think your new desk looks good as a background for the journal stuff, if that helps. Maybe it's also the white shelves (which im so envious of btw) that make the yellow tone look more intense?

I would love an in depth review on the tamagotchi uni. I’m interested in buying it but also I don’t know how it compares to the tamagotchi ON? But the ON is crazy expensive and the uni is newer and less expensive so uni probably makes more sense to get

I might be getting ahead of the video with this comment, but I wonder if you’d consider staining your desk a different color. It might be a fun DIY. Even better if your dad owns a sander 🫶🏼 (Edit) I wanted to share that my desk is someone’s DIY that I got at a thrift store. The maker got butcher block (real kitchen countertop material) and made a corner desk with it. I love it so much. Being a creative and having a huge table is like the most encouraging thing ever

iPods! 🫶🏻 I still have mine from when I was a kid, I never stopped using it 🙈 Never saw the point in switching to streaming when I had all my music right there already. They’re shockingly hardy devices, I think mine is about 15 years old now and still going strong without any refurbs
