@@LaurenHeavnerMusic Hi Lauren! Nice to hear from you! That was always one of my favourite songs! Was it Hank Snow that originally sang it? Reminds me of his song "I've Been Everywhere"! I wish I lived in Nashville as I have always loved Country Music. I play sax and Boots Randolph was my "Sax Hero"! I love Jim Stafford as well. Original & So Talented! "Spiders & Snakes"! I always like his lyric "Snakes hang thick on the Cypress Trees like sausage on a smokehouse wall"! Do you have a website? All the Best Lauren, -Mike

I know she didn't write the auctioneer. Bruce Mullen sung it when I was kid. This girl can sing. Not bad at all. Please give credit to the writers in your description. Thanks.
@LaurenHeavnerMusic3 жыл бұрын
Hi Patricia! Thanks so much for your complements! I'm glad you liked my singing. I must point out that you are confusing "Auctioneer Love" by Bruce Mullen with "The Auctioneer Song" by Leroy Van Dyke. I take great pride in the history of every single song I sing. The writers, producers, the story behind the lyrics. "The Auctioneer Song" was co-written by Buddy Black. I was unable to get much information about who Buddy Black was or his background. I can only assume he was a fellow soldier who was stationed in Korea during the war with Leroy as that is where they wrote the song.

@mulvenealonso17584 жыл бұрын
BCRSIX, if you're still around, congratulations, you can spell. Can you sing? Lauren Heavner has shown you how to do it. If you can match her world-class talent, I'll willing to waste time on your spelling. And when you can play Malaguena as well as Jim Stafford, I'll give you the time of day. Otherwise, go away. You're an arse.
