Unbalanced view and purpose. If China is concerned by Australia getting a few submarines then why does Australia actually need them? China is going through the biggest and fastest military build up in history. Just who is undermining peace?

@peterhardy. Australia doesn't need those nuclear submarines, which cost its taxpayers US$362 billion. The only reason why Australia is spending that kind of money is because the master yelled, "Jump!"

No its called preparation for the possible defence from an aggressive superpower, why can China build it's military power while others are being ridiculed. The only reason these three countries share such technology is because of the history and trust over 100yrs of working together. No other country will receive this technology for another 60yrs.

I was concerned when China blatantly ignored THER treaty obligations over H K and how they want to ignore the ruling of UNCLOS when they signed the treaty ! China does NOT honour any treaty when it does not suit them.

A good interview with very important points mentioned by both guests. The interviewer asked some pertinent questions regarding AUKUS. The US has to accept that this is the Dawn of a multipolar world and China is going to be an equally dominant and influential global player on the world stage. China has the right win-win mindset, while the U.S. and its allies are stuck in a zero sum, Cold War era mentality; which makes (the U.S.) the instigator of current and possibly future conflicts and tensions around the world, especially in Asia.
