anyone can throw money at a project and build an off the shelf 1000+ hp monster, but this is art.

Followed this car build when it first came out. Decided to re visit it from the start and "binge watch" it while recovering from Christmas dinner. Just as good second time round and I realized I seem to have missed some interesting bits, including some very funny "asides". I've suggested it to friends who also missed it when it came out. Follow my lead,

I used to drive a Vulcan truck with cable brakes back in the 60's. Let me tell you, they don't work. The most frightening vehicle I ever drove.Why did you cut the brackets off the front axle instead of using them to attach the springs. It seems that you made more work for nothing there.
@oakswamp2 жыл бұрын
it lowered it by 8 inches? yes cable brakes make you think ahead ...i too drove trucks with air brakes but fully loaded you have look at the car 100 yards down the road , not the one in front !

I was so lucky to have found a Mag Drill from a business that was moving back to the Ukraine during the Plandemic. They wanted $2,000 for it and I asked them what happens if they do not sell it before they leave. The guy said he would give me a call. I never thought I would hear from them. It was three months later and 9pm and my phone rings. I do not recognize the number so I answer. It was someone I did nit recognize . He asked me what I had in my wallet right now. I hesitated. He said John, I am on the phone and I do not have time. I looked in my wallet and told him $200. He said who he was and gave me an address. It was an hour away and it was pouring down raining. He said he was leaving for Ukraine in an hour and a half and if I didn't get there he was giving it to someone else. I made it in an hour and 15 minutes and got the drill. Best purchase of my life pretty much...

@@oakswamp Oh Yes! I did not know I needed a Mag Drill but now I could not do without it..I am building a Morgan Aero circa 1929 from scratch. I just bought a Model A transmission today for the Onan Opposed twin engine that a I am going to use in front. I just thing that the opposed twin looks more like an airplane motor than a plain V-Twin. I say plain because I have not yet become good enough to cast and built a JAP engine from scratch ...yet!
