Is the Auto Cool III appropriate for a single speed MK 8 fan?

The Auto Cool Controller is connected to the fan's ground wire. The low speed wire is not used. The fan's high speed wire is connected to the battery plus. The output of the controller will pulse width from 0 to 100 percent depending on the temperature of the sensor on the outflow port. This will run the fan(s) RPM from 0 to 100 percent RPM. If you turn on the Fail Safe, the fan(s) will go to Full RPM. The A/C fan speed will control the fan(s) RPM with a small pot on the side of the controller. The temperature mode will over-ride the A/C fan speed mode.Any questions email [e-mail] or call 562-367-3225

Why "From 50 amps..."? Can we control a 17Amp fan?

The Auto Cool III controllers run the fan RPM from zero to 100 percent depending on what the sensor is seeing on the outflow port. You only use the high speed wire and the ground on the fan or fans. You do not use the low speed wire - just tie it up.This is a closed loop control system. It Doesn't have a high or low you apply power to either one of the positives and it brings the fan to low speed operation it doesn't care which of the two positives you want to use for the low as soon as the other one gets hot it will spin full speed

Can you control a derale 2 speed fan with pwm
