The Aveley Extraterrestrial Abduction | Documentary

In October 1974, an ordinary English family experienced the extraordinary - a strange UFO in the sky, mysterious green mist, and three hours of missing time. In the months and years that followed, the Avis family experienced all manner of paranormal activity, including horrific dreams of extraterrestrials and creepy encounters with the men in black. I was specifically told by a being that he was "sent back to help people." I would never want to be hypnotized because some of these experiences scared me half to death. But it changed me. I`m constantly warning people about the coming space impacts and huge volcanic eruptions. Nothing is being done to prepare for the shortage of food and the weather catastrophe causing crops to fail and massive losses of livestock and extreme cold. Absolutely nothing! I don't recall being abducted, but I clearly remember being fully awake and seeing a strange, elongated face with large slanted black eyes in my older sisters bedroom across the hallway. I was only 6 and it was 1963. I hid under my covers for 10 minutes shaking - then when I looked again it was gone. It was real because it was staring right back at me and I drew pictures of it, never showing anyone. I kept this secret for 60 years, only now coming out.

Okay. Something interesting that may or may not be related to this case. There is a story-line for Doctor Who which ALSO aired in 1974 that has several elements in common with the story of this family. The story-line in question was during the run of the third Doctor and was called Invasion of the Dinosaurs. In it a mad scientist has discovered how to reverse time. They recruit a family and put them on board a 'UFO' telling them that they will be going to "New Earth", a pristine place without all the ecological horrors and overpopulation. In actuality of course they will be transported back in time. In order to brainwash them they are sent to a re-education room and shown flashing images and news reel footage of ecological devastation, pollution, war, overcrowding, etc. This room is meant to remind them of how important their cause is and how humanity is doomed if it doesn't turn back. (I should note there is also a conspiracy within UNIT and the British military to go along with this plan. So an undercurrent of not being able to trust officials runs through this story) Now perhaps this idea, of brainwashing humans or giving dire warnings of destruction, was already in the collective zeitgeist and that's how it made it into Doctor Who. I don't know for sure. But this idea, of them being abducted, taken on board a UFO, shown this film meant to convince them to change their ways and the idea that the aliens "were us" has elements very similar to this series of Dr. Who episodes. And this series just happened to air in the winter of 1974 some months before the family had their experiences. It may be entirely coincidental and obviously the similarity is only to SOME of their experiences but I only just rewatched this run of Doctor Who episodes and it stuck out to me as far too similar.

It's the place beings incarnate to accelerate their learning, because this planet is an insane asylum. No other populated planet is as violent and careless as we are. Now for the good news: Only the bravest of the brave incarnate here. Because no other planet's inhabitants are similar, they want to preserve such a valuable "school" by making sure we don't destroy ourselves. There will never be a WW III. I saw a ufo, once in my lifetime. It was just in the middle of the day, afternoon. Over a big city. It was very big, big as a football stadium probably. It was kind of hiding behind the clouds. Passing over slowly from North to South in a straight line. No sound at all. It was orange-reddish colour, not like lights on a airplane or other machine, but the whole surface (saw it from underneath right above my head) was glowing with this colour. Also the surface didn't look like any material i had ever seen before or after that. Not from this world, was my guess. I was with a group of people, 4 or 5. We all saw it. There were many people in the streets, but only a few looked up and saw it. First second, or millisecond, i thought i was looking at the sun. But immediately realized the sun was not above our heads, but in the west where it always goes in the afternoon, over the sea. This was i think in 1974, maybe 1975 not completely sure. August or September it was. Whatever it was, it was not a plane or a helicopter, because no sound no smoke or whatever, also to big (i know planes i worked for an airline company). Drone's didn't exist back then. It was not venus, venus doesn't float just above the clouds. It was not a balloon, it was kind of flat on the underside, saucershape was my impression. Also a balloon goes in the direction where the wind is going, normally along the coast we have wind from the west. So by the wind it cannot go from north to south. It was not a reflection or a light, it was a big enormous solid object.

I always have a deep fear of these stories. Not just of Aliens but of the possibility that the victims endured a night of terrifying abuse at the hands of a human and repressed the memories.

There isn't much evidence that repressed memories exist as such. There is a lot of evidence that people WISH they could repress horrific memories. I personally wouldn't dismiss the possibility it ever happens, because that's not my prerogative, but people in paranormal circles tend to appeal to it WAY too often. I can tell you that. See, one of the main problems is that the way our ORDINARY memory works is we fill in the blanks. Very few people have a truly "photographic" memory. It is natural to fear these stories. A fear of being taken, especially when most vulnerable, is a very human thing. I have had a fear of being abducted by aliens since I was a small child. It doesn't bother me often anymore, but when I was a kid, for a while I prayed every night that I wouldn't be abducted. I can tell you that it is possible to induce false memories if you obsess about it too much. If this is something that really disturbs you, I suggest you consider seeing a licensed therapist (or some other neutral, trusted party if therapy just isn't your thing) and share how you have been feeling. Is the fear actually that you repressed the memories? I presume what you mean is that you fear it has actually happened and one day you'll remember. But really the main reason I responded was just to let you know that I have struggled with a similar sort of thing.

I actually saw a small alien while I was awakened. He saw me, and telepathically said “I’m not here to hurt you. I’m here to observe” I said observe what? Then I asked to talk to it. Thank you for sharing this story with the world. It fills me with a sense of perplexity, because the apparent motives of the aliens do not seem to match their tactics- that is, if we persist in believing that the entities performing the abductions are the same crew who then went on to harass the family in question with spying by MIB and phone shenanigans, etc. If a non-human race of beings is in fact perpetuating their own existence by utilizing human hosts, or modifying humans to serve as allies, then it makes sense for these visitors to keep an eye on the health and well being of the humans under their "care", and it makes sense for them to be pushing for humans to practice more sustainable treatment of the planet. What does NOT make sense is to then go on to bother, to intimidate, to harass and to otherwise act intrusively and disruptively toward said humans. I think that we are likely dealing with a situation in which multiple groups of nonhuman intelligences are in competition with one another for the future of this planet. I suspect that once Group A, (which I shall call the "friendly" aliens- those associated with providing medical cures, and promoting sustainability,) have made contact with a human, Group B (whom I shall call the unfriendly aliens, the MIB, the harassers, the phone-pranksters, etc.) probably then targets those people in order to undermine the work of Group A by tormenting their chosen human subjects. I am not arguing that the agenda of Group A is actually friendly, in the long-term sense of the word, merely that healthy humans and healthy environmental conditions appear to be important to them right now. I would go so far as to speculate that there may well be far more than simply two forces at war with one another right now, though for the purpose of this comment, I shall only refer to two. It is my suspicion that the group we most need to fear is the more ruthless group of nonhumans, that is to say the ones dealing in large-scale mind control (very probably), cattle mutilations, permanent human disappearances, spy-style harassment, and general deathmongering. It is just an impression I get, but living as I do, in the Unites States, in the 21st century, I am surrounded by a populace that seems quite the opposite, in their attitudes, to people who have been "persuaded" toward healthy and sustainable decisions. Regardless of the agendas of any ET's, environmental collapse IS a terrifying looming reality, and what troubles me is the widespread APATHY that I observe in such a huge number of my fellow citizens. A high percentage of people here act as though ecological stewardship is a trivial and pointless priority, and instead continue to consume and pollute at a devastating rate. It seems to me that if any kind of mind control is being inflicted, en masse, it is more likely to be geared at destroying us and our world rather than saving either. Honestly, on a cultural level it feels as though I am living in an insane asylum in which the people in charge are even sicker than the patients. How plausible is it that the association of the environmental message with ET's is in and of itself some type of propaganda tool by the hostiles (either group or both) to make average people further revile and distrust the concept of environmentalism? The hostility with which many Americans view any attempt to clean up the planet and curb pollution is so irrational and fervent that it definitely could be the result of hostile programming. I would bet that many of the people in charge, economically and politically, have been swayed by the "Visitors", and that if there really is a "Group A," and a "Group B", that we're looking at the work of Group B. I find it hard to wrap myself around the fact that some people want to look at them as benevolent entities, yet they abduct a family, separate their children from them, and traumatize them. I think back to some of the abduction scenarios that I've heard in the past about certain individuals being abducted against their will, incredibly horrible and painful examinations done to them, as well as painful implantations, and the suffering they have experienced because of it for many years. I have to wonder if the entities that this family experienced were completely deceiving them for their own personal gain. It would be interesting to understand why they wanted this family to be vegetarian when there is so much cattle mutilation that has been directly correlated to the UFO phenomena. I think we should be wise and not be quick to assume that whoever they are, they are here for our better good. Anyway, these are just some of my thoughts regarding this topic, but I do thank you for sharing the family's experience.

I know this sounds absolutely nuts, but I highly suspect that myself and my mother are both abductess, but the possbility terrifies me so much that I dare not investigate it further. Memories of waking up floating down to bed paralyzed, or awaking paralyzed in bed, unable to move a muscle fiber while being englufed by insurmountable fear are many and are clustered. When I brought this up to my mother several weeks ago, astonishingly she mentioned that she had been finding herself awake while being floated down to bed for decades, but always dismissed it as some odd, semi lucid state she'd experience when she was exceptionally tired. Couple these occurenes with other things that I wont get into detail with this comment, the possibility became frighteningly real when stumbling by chance upon a lecture by Dr. David Jacobs on the abduction phenomenon. Frightening stuff, and I dare not do hypnotic regression or whatever other means exist to try and investigate these sureal events. I always get very uncomfortable whenever I catch on videos discussing this topic, but you do such a great job at it that I listened to it all!

I legit thought I was being pursued by a demon for a lot of my childhood, because it would occur when I messed with my sleeping pattern. I was not a lot relieved to learn that there is a medical explanation for every part of it - the fear, the floating or being dragged off the bed, the absolutely unmistakable feeling or appearance of a malevolent being in the room with you or even on your chest….. This reminds me of a not too dissimilar abduction that happened on 19 June 1978 of a family (3 adults & two children) encountering a ufo in Oxfordshire whilst travelling on a lonely country road. They said they were taken on board the spaceship by aliens who were waiting in space in our solar system, they were waiting to land and start their life again. Their own planet had been destroyed by giant rocks as their nearest moon broke up and fell in fragments on their planet etc etc. There is a book on this written by Frank Johnson, called The Janos People.

1) I'd love to know what the family was like 10 or 20 years later. Did they continue along the same path? Give up the changes? Did they recant their stories? Did they become more odd to those around them? Were they ever hypnotized again many years later? There are many unanswered questions. 2) This has always bothered me-- the theories that they are testing humans to pave the way for invasion. They are incredibly advanced compared to us. They fly billions of miles at speeds unfathomable to us. Or they manage to time jump and skip over in a blink. We're bugs they can just stomp on. There would be very little reason to probe humans to discover some secret weapon to use against us. Heck, a two hour search on Google will tell them all they need to know about that. If they do examine humans, it's scientific curiosity and not warfare related. That's just my thoughts on it.

A UFO's ability to manipulate gravity and travel at great speed would explain the "lost time" phenomena (time dilation) experienced in many abductions. Clocks run at different speeds depending on variations of gravity and speed between 2 observers. The GPS system we rely on everyday makes allowances for time dilation, otherwise it wouldn't work, couldn't work.

Smashing work, per the norm! I'm on my second listen. The first time around, I was multi-tasking- only sporadically getting bits and pieces of the story. Up until the halfway point, I thought this was a video on demonic possession! There seem to be a lot of scary experiences that cross-over😱

I also am new to this channel. I was drawn to this video because, not only was the title compelling, but also because I used to live in Aveley years ago. Plus, I have seen various ufo's over the years. Also, I am a psychic, clairvoyant medium with telepathic experience. But, the more that I got into this video, the more that it dawned on me that I also, am an abducted. Not to the extent that this family were abducted. At least, I don't think so. I only have one memory of an event that 'possibly' occurred when I was around 6 or 7 years old. I am 74 now. But I can relate to a lot of what was said in this video, which I found thoroughly fascinating and am now watching it again for the second time.😊
