Described in terms of bright lights and mysterious visitors from the heavens, the strange series of events culminated in the Miracle of the Sun, when up to 70,000 people witnessed a wheel of fire in the sky that was - by modern standards - reminiscent of an alien UFO. I'm from Argentina. There used to be a phenomenon called "Luz mala" or "Evil light" in English. Very common in the countryside folklore to avoid being outside at dark; this light would harm or take you. As a teenager and then young adult you disregard these things as old people nonsense. Now, I find a bit of truth to it; Brazil's Gov got it documented as a real attack to a village during many consecutive months.

This is gonna sound crazy but here it goes. A few months after starting emotional therapy. A memory from my childhood was unlocked. I was 8 years old and a really bad thunderstorm just rolled over my town. After it cleared, I remember being outside with no recollection of how I got out of my bed. I see this thing that I can only describe as a massive, gyroscope of liquid energy. It almost looked like an upside down floating city at night with rainbows of colors just pulsating through it. I cannot explain how big this thing must have been. As a kid I blocked out because my little brain couldn't handle what I just saw. I started crying when that memory was first unlocked and it took me almost a year to be able to re-tell it without crying. My maternal and paternal have also had experiences. As an adult it's made me question so much about what we know. Its played a role in who I am and how i treat others today.

As a child did your parents take it upon themselves to feed you Postman Pat Pasta shapes? They came in a can and were notorious for giving some children (those who were susceptible) horrific mood swings and hallucinations. In later years it was discovered to have been caused by an E number chemical, one which gave the pasta shapes their orange colour.

Soda was almost foreign to me and I never had "easy mac" or Taco Bell till I was in my 20's. Which probably makes me a better candidate to get abducted. 😅 Do you know much about Hawaii? We are one of the best places in the world with the most clear view of the night sky. Ancient Hawaiians believed in entities that came from the land, sky and sea. We have alot of sites here with paranormal and strange activity that never makes headlines cause its so normal here. Spend a week in the remote jungles of Hawaii and you'll see something. I can promise you that much.

What really makes me wonder is the description of the same phenomenon from different people showing marked differences from what is actually seen, and any photographic evidence can show something else again. It is possible that this phenomenon can to some degree make itself visible or invisible or appear in a certain way to different people in the same locale. Angels with wings? That would explain to primitive man how these beings could fly. But the reality is something very different.

Yeah, personally I believe this incident is just another example of some of the more powerful intelligent entities out there creating a bridge to interact with the consciousness of us humans & create a presense in our physical world. @@Mistress_Mary .. I believe that the church turned that incident into "mother Mary visiting". The children didn't say they met Mary. They met "a Lady". Lady of the Light or whatever name. At first the children had a "encounter" with someone or something. Then later (of course) the priest of the village or town took control of the situation. Which makes sense in a way, because we are talking here about young children. (and a very religious country). Religious and also back then, superstitious and most people not very well educated. Not to speak bad of Portugal. Today everybody is educated, and many speak English or other languages. But in 1917 it was mostly agriculture, small farmers. Did the 3 children even go to school at all? Maybe not. Also other European countries many children only went to school till 12 years old, possibly even left the school younger.

Another compelling one to cover would be the Marian apparition in Zeitoun, Egypt. Mary was seen by thousands on the roof of the church there over a period of three years from 1968. President Nasser himself witnessed her and it improved relations between Christians and Muslims in the country.

The only thing I would add is that there were photos of people who were understandably amazed by what they saw during the Fatima miracle events but is there any photos of the miracle itself. The photographer would only have to point the camera upwards and also, if it was such a life changing experience then why did this person feel the need to take photos in the first place rather than be in amazement by what is happening around him

There's at least one photo of the sun during the event, but it looks about what you'd expect an old black and white photo of the sun to look like. In other words, it's kind of impossible to tell if anything out of the ordinary is happening or not.

They did. Just not shown in this video probably because it did not come out too well. Try taking a picture of a bright light or the Sun with your *modern* camera. It won't be good. Now imagine a picture taken with the clunky equipment of more than a hundred years ago, without automatic focusing or CCD's.

Note that a material sun dancing would be seen across the world, light, darkness, light darkness. It is one of many superstitious stories put out by the Roman Church to gain followers. If the children can be photographed so can the angel, before she turns on the bright lights

Papers of the day, in Portuguese, describe an orb coming from out of the heavily clouded sky appearing as a spinning "matte silver disc" ("disco de prata fosca") shining lights of multiple colors on the countryside below and seeming to rapidly descend towards the crowd. That was no Sun, but in those days, the only circular things visible in the sky were the Sun and Moon. Being daylight, that narrowed the options and the event was interpreted as the "miracle of the Sun". The name stuck for the papers.

There are but they were scrubbed from the internet mostly. Black and white photo of a cloudy sky with a big grey disk in the middle. People forget the Church was desperate to paint the narrative of a miracle. The Curch was in power but many people were losing faith because of WWI. They also forget that they literally held the oldest girl hostage. Due to their interference the entire story has been eschewed.

My grandmother was driving somewhere up in North Florida sometime during the first half of the 20th century (I can't recall exact dates but my father wrote up the account after interviewing her and so if pressed I can dig it out). But the story generally goes as follows. Sometime during the previously mentioned drive she saw a bunch of people pulled over and looking up at something in the sky above. As they drove past they could see a circle of angels up in the sky, about 50ft up. Her and the people she was with honestly expected the rapture to be under way but it never happened. My father did do some research later during the rough date and location but he couldn't find anything. He didn't do an in depth search so perhaps there is something out there in some forgotten newspaper issue?

This one gives me chills. I love to think of the roots of Angels, how they bring news, messages and premonitions. They are of the heavens, of the stars, creatures from above, but we don’t know who these beings are, it’s absolutely mind boggling, but in my humble opinion, all of the stories and legends can be traced back to real events that we scramble to explain; I feel strongly lately, that history will be repeated until such time as Simon says that we are not the only ones with conscious thought, that even consciousness is misunderstood and that the truth lies beyond what we could have ever imagined. Laura, I have been touched by an angel at least once in my life and believe I am an angel who will be sent to do angelic mission jobs and probably also be the keeper of the rainbow bridge in my afterlife. I have always believed in angels and believe I have a set of wings which will appear out of my back when my time comes because my life has been a challenging struggle where I've had to overcome so much at such a young age that I've earned my angel wings over time. Angels are a bit strange, the word comes from Greek agelos, meaning something like interpreter, someone who conveys a message, an intermediary, which doesn't convey the impression of angels as is pictured today. It would appear that angels have taken on something of the character of elves, shining beings either with wings or the capability to fly. Although today elves are associated with green, this is a modern conception, in old ballads they are white or shining, indeed elf means the shining one, and is rated to words to other white, bright or light things, the Alps, river Elbe, Albion, an old name for Britain from the white cliffs. In old English Elf is found Aelf and Alf. So Christian angels have taken on some of the characteristics of Elves.

Only problem is the written texts are specific. They don’t show up in metallic ships. They come and go as balls of light and then manifest themselves as beings of fire like light. I pretty sure most humans can tell which is evil and which are benevolent just by the love they exude. Kinda like when your favorite sports team wins a tournament but without all the commercials and half time shows. Also heaven isn’t like Las Vegas with casinos 😂.
