People really tend to mistake Steve as some kind of rule follower, like a lawful good paladin. But we have to remember, when we first meet him he’s breaking the law. He’s lied several times on his various enlistment forms. He becomes the REAL Captain America by violating orders and going off on his own. But, then again, I think a lot of people misunderstand Steve, as we see later on in the series. Tony doesn’t actually understand him at all.
@Jok-ly2uk10 ай бұрын
Yes, what people expect of Steve is a good soldier, but he is not just a good little soldier, he follows orders a lot of times because they conveniently fit into his sense of right, but doesn't hesitate at all to break them if they don't. And what Tony says should always be taken with a grain of salt imho😂

Yeah. It's a weird misconception that Steve is the typical goody two shoes. In reality he is a die hard "everything for the people" type of person, even if it massively contradicts current law. Is it the law, but bad for the people? F the law. Is it good for the people but against the law? F the law. The good of the people comes first and foremost. That's most of Captains America. Well, let's not forget america's ass of course.

Isn't his whole origin story him lying on government documents, disobeying direct orders while he didn't have much combat training (how long was he in boot camp before he got forcibly turned into a parade boy?) and I don't think he actually earned his rank except for the war propaganda he got featured on (while he definitely has accomplishments that deserve some title after the fact, that doesn't substitute leadership training.).

NOTE: Starting after this film and Iron Man 3, Marvel started producing TV spinoff series. The first was "Agents of SHIELD", which follows a team that deals with threats that don't call for an Avengers team up. It picks up right after this and Iron Man 3. The other series (there's about 20 of them) either dive into single characters in more detail or side stories in the same universe. Like the main films, they are best watched with the episodes matched to the film release dates. There is a LOT of Marvel TV, so you may not have time or desire to watch all of it, but I found them all fun.

About Tony's power going to 400% after being hit by lightning, it is something that will never be said out loud, but Tony always upgrades his suits to function better against what it had problems dealing with earlier. Not everyone needs to know how to speak Tagalog. But everyone needs to know the difference between good and evil, otherwise that's a serious mental deficiency. The suits doable but it wouldn't be as compact or practical as shown in the movie with the current Material science, also it needs a power source thats years away. And there is simply no way to survive an impact as shown in some scenes. G forces will make you leak through the suit like a cracked egg. Im sure these things will exist one day just like airplanes do now.

As another engineer (space systems), the Marvel universe isn't our universe, though parts of it look similar. This becomes explicit in the later films where the "multiverse" idea is introduced. You just have to accept that the laws of nature are different in the MCU, and things we consider impossible can happen there.

Watch for mid credit scenes as well as post credit scenes in the MCU. LOKI'S PLAY: That's why Loki let himself be captured. Loki's scepter was agitating everyone within range. That's why everyone was arguing with each other. He wanted the Avengers to all be mad and not work as a team. He was also wanting an enraged Hulk to destroy the SHIELD Helicarrier.

"Everything special about you came out of a test tube." "You're not the one to make the sacrifice play." Condemnations with far-reaching echoes. And both are spectacularly wrong. But... you'll see how. I really appreciate that they didn't make everyone get along right away... because there was no way that they would have. I do think that this movie, more than anything, was what sold me on the MCU as a whole. Funny. They never mention in all the films he's in. Loki's canon weight is about 500 pounds. So the man is dense in stature and as a Frost Giant, his skin is basically bulletproof. It's just his brother Thor is even stronger than that. And can throw him around fairly easily.

In the comics. Whenever say Iron Man or Cap. Had a crises. Calling the Avengers was like using a shotgun to kill an ant. So over kill, or the Avengers were scattered. Thor was usually off planet taking care of galactic business. ex. in an Iron Man arch. His armor was taken over by a villain and Tony killed someone on national tv. ppl all over the world saw it. The Avengers had to distance themselves or be known to associate with him. Tony had to solve his own problem himself. Cap usually went on missions which needed to be kept secret. Calling the avengers would cause to much attention or they would disagree with Caps methods and ideology. The comics were so much fun to read back them. If anyone wants an Avengers fix. The comics have a super rich history to occupy you for a couple of years

How well they edit or what tricks they learn to pass varies from one channel to another. Most channels post their full reactions elsewhere for a small fee. Usually it is "watch along", you play your copy of the original video in one window, and their reaction in parallel in a second window.
