I'm pretty sure it has already been fixed, however, the fact that we got barely any compensation for a bug that lasted the whole version is insane.

It's way easier to revert a change when you already have the old (working) code than it is to go through and basically entirely redo some code due to an update breaking it. For Neuvilette it was just ctrl+Z basically, while for Aven they had to do a ton of work to make sure it the bug was fixed properly and didn't introduce more bugs somewhere else. Comparing a change revert to a complete code redo is just silly imo

The thing is, not many people are aware of this bug. I only recently discovered it while watching your previous videos, so I don't think many will complain about it.

It feels a bit shady since they usually hand out small compensations during updates for bugs that hardly impact most players. Yet this time, for a bug that lasted the entire version and affected a character that most players use, they gave us nothing. Instead, they just brushed it off in the patch notes.

I completely understand you man, I have noticed they have fumbled the 3.0 release quite a lot, the new planet seems mid because of the lame introduction, the new banner format better stick because if this is a one time thing it induces FOMO. And overall they don't seem to be making the best decisions lately but since they do listen I'm sure they'll fix their mistakes. If not well i guess it just wasn't meant to be.

@@amarilistheodore9156 fr though, i just got my ass whooped (4.3k def aventurine) against feixiao boss fight ALL I WANTED WAS 3 FEATHER THINGYS FOR HERTA (SHE LITTERALLY DELETED MY FULL HP SHIELDS and bro just stood there like "best I can do is 1/10th of your hp bar of shield for everyone"

I really thought people were joking about getting 1600 jades for compensation. But compensation shouldn't be this drastic for a bug. Its annoying but i am satisfied with 300. Aventurine could still clear moc with the bug. Not really 0 cycle because you had to use skill for shield. But its still doable. I just swapped to lingsha if aventurine couldn't deal with DOT enemies like he used to.

0 cycle? You can't, only sustain less or eidolons can do it

I feel like we should get more than just 300. We would’ve gotten those 300 for bug fixes regardless, even if Aventurine hadn’t been fixed, since they give out that much every single update. Compared to other HoYo games, this feels pretty unfair. For example, ZZZ implemented some minor censorship, reverted it within a day, and still gave out 1,600 due to the outrage. And this Aventurine bug has lasted for the entirety of the last version. Maybe we’ll actually get a little more if the CN side starts complaining.

the thing is the 300 was and always will be there it should have a separate compensation cause the players did have a hard time using Aventurin which some of them use real money to pull him, it's a major issue that affects the players gameplay not some "bug fixes" we get every patch

Ikr, asking a small indie company to fix a big, which they took a whole month is too much. They'll go bankrupt if they gave some extra jades to players. Infact they're earning so little that 3.0 doesn't even have enough visuals, just black screen with texts, reused animation with same 4 hand movements, we gotta support them. I think you should buy everything in the shop and financially help them

This is just insanity to me people thinking to have to be majorly rewarded for having a bug fixed that affected one patch chill guys you had to actually press skill on Aventurine for once Im so sorry for your loss, you guys think riot ever gave me rp after disabling a champ due to a bug I got a skin for? Can’t tell if they fixed him…. I have him E2S1 but it still doesn’t feel like before 🫠 Also, 300 jades is a massive joke for effecting gameplay for a premium unit!
