Thank you for reviewing this amazing ballad. Im glad its not just me that had this reaction. Was entertaining watching you guys soak this one in for the first time. It moved me across the room the first time i saw this. They def tapped everyone on the shoulder with this song. I enjoy your channel very much, keep up the good work.

Avett Brothers are the best. Until Ren came along at least. I heard about this song near my moms death. I told myself that when I couldlisten without crying then Iwould be at the point of accetance. Tookme nearly a year to watch it all the way through without tears.

please please listen to Sanguine by Avett Brothers (if you don’t already know the definition of the word sanguine, do that before listening)! Sending love to the channel ❤

This is the song they play at the end of all their concerts. They have a ton of great songs.

they have just as many big, fun, happy songs as they have these songs that hit you right in the gut... great band

@@tillzillz can you suggest one of those fun happy tunes?

@@neighborsue I'll try, I'm not too great when put on the spot..ha ha. I'm realizing their best songs are the sad ones, and even some songs that are a bit of a bop have pretty melancholy lyrics. a lot of their older stuff is a bit more happier, but they're also a bit more stripped down (mostly just guitar, banjo, bass, and vocals), where I tend to prefer the fuller band sound for them ... wondering if a live version of something would be best, as their shows really have such a vibe

I absolutely love this song, but I have to admit at the end, any squishy feeling I have is replaced with the memory that I have many enemies and I don't forgive them lol. Maybe someday.
