That's usually how I feel Christmas day, after the gift overload and mess and too much stuff... I was happier before, why did we spend all that money on this stuff?? The kids were just fine with what they had! ;)

I love this song think. This is my favorite version. The airport was awesome and had the most feeling as well as residence, the other video was good but it didn't produce the raw feeling for me. This one takes from both providing melody, rhythm and backing vocals gives makes it full and oddly creates more of a message of hope than the true since of loss I felt with airport. One more reason I see music as one the most powerful modes of communication. The Avett Brothers create stories and feelings that attach to catchy harmonies that are hard not to have repeating in your head after. They present positive energy even when the song is sad.

I think they decided a long time ago, that they would rather perform honest, fundamental music to a crowd of 15 in the living room, than play formulaic, contrived, pretentious music to a crowd of 150,000 in an arena. However, I am glad that their brand of music can still fill any stadium in the country.

Name the song! My entry is " Fools Gold and Pride" I know how he feels, however; you reach a point of hopelessness and it just doesn't matter anymore. But that's incorrect it should matter to you even if it doesn't matter to her. It should matter enough that you conduct yourself like a gentleman even when surrounded by gorgons and brujas. if nothing else escape with some sense of self-respect and humanity. Easier said than done when you love someone and are a stubborn SOB. but just like Sting sang - -If you love someone set them free. I wish I would've had the maturity to do that myself despite the duplicity and vindictiveness I faced.
