Thank you for "Awakening of a Giant" I believe in the Blessed Mother, and I have a personal relationship with her. She is always with me. My life is a privilege. I have always experienced her warmth and feeling of acceptance. I choose to be happy with this gift of life. Through my rough beginnings, I have learned to appreciate and recognize her love. She has stood by me through the many lesson's and I continue to have faith in God, Son and Holy Spirit. He has never left me and continues to work true miracles in my life. The Blessed Mother is the key. Life is a gift, and our time is limited. True words.

I have relate when St. Veronica was a child. When I am also a child I saw the sacred images moving. Now that I am young it didn't happened again. As we walk with God and obey His One Holy Roman Catholic and Apostolic Church we'll see who and what for the enemy of God and for God. Pray the Rosary daily. Attend Mass as many as we can and do confession weekly or at least once a month. I am proud Catholic. God bless us all. ❤️🙏

Sir.. not to be mean or hurt you.. but if you truly believe in SCRIPTURE... JESUS SAID ; "I AM THE TRUTH AND THE LIGHT"...**NO MAN GOES TO THE FATHER EXCEPT THRU ME** Sir, you have to PRAY TO JESUS... no where in scriptures does Jesus tell us to pray to the dead... Even a "saint" is still a dead Person.! What your doing is a GRAVE SIN ACCORDING TO GODS WORD...READ IT FOR YOURSELF! GOOGLE"SCRIPTURE ABOUT PRAYING TO THE DEAD".... It's called NECROMANCY!!! IT WILL DEFILE YOUR SOUL! PLEASE LOOK IT UP FOR YOURSELF. I KNOW WHAT ITS LIKE TO THINK YOU KNOW (in church).... THEN FIND OUT WHAT GOD THINKS (from scripture). IT HURTS TO REALIZE YOU BELIEVED A LIE (from pastors or priests)...BUT WE HAVE TO DO THIS BEFORE JESUS RETURNS!!!! YOU PRAY FOR JESUS TO HELP THESE PPL AND YOU WILL SEE A BIG CHANGE IN THINGS. I don't even know how I got here except I picked up the phone and this is where it took me... To your text! So I guess Jesus wants to here FROM YOU BADLY!!! I pray you find your way Sir. We don't have much time! Read about "THE FIG TREE GENERATION" (that's us!).. ..MATHEW 24. OUR TIME IS ALMOST UP! GOD BLESS YOU AND GUIDE YOU ON YOUR WAY! (ITS JESUS ALL THE WAY! OR ELSE WHY SEND HIM TO BE KILLED SO CRULEY ON A CROSS AND THEN WE GO AND CHASE "ANOTHER" FOR HELP FROM GOD???.... WE GO TO THE ONE HE SENT TO US! JESUS THE CHRIST.... AMEN)

@@tinatimthompson3115 Christians have ALWAYS prayed for each other. Have you never read in the Bible when St. Peter was imprisoned, the Church prayed for him? Why do you think Christians in Heaven would give up their ministry of prayer? The Church in Heaven and on Earth form one Body of Christ, one communion of saints.

Saints intercede for us in Heaven... During the Transfiguration of Christ, Elijah and Moses was seen with Jesus..This clearly teaches us that even after death, we can ask intercession of Saints... because only human body is left here and Soul is with God.. prayers of Saints are still valuable.

@@deepapv1374 what is the biblical evidence that we are supposed to be praying to dead people? That is idolatry. Moses and Elijah appearance to Jesus does not mean that Jesus prayed to them and in fact He never did. Stephen died before the other apostles and never once will you ever find where the living apostles prayed to The Stephen, who even lifted up his eyes and saw Jesus in heaven. Never once did the apostles PRAYED to “Mary” in the Bible, not to talk of any graven image, or has God changed the rule? Exodus 20:3-5KJV, Isaiah 42:8KJV.

I am so grieved in my spirit and saddened that so many people have been led astray by this deluded woman who was pronounced a saint by the Catholic church. In this rebuttal I am not coming against the Catholic church herself, nor am I writing from a doctrinaire position as a Calvinist, Lutheran, Wesleyan or any particular Protestant denomination, simply as a child of God saved by the mercy and grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. I have to make this initial disclaimer first because any type of criticism of this woman, who is among the pantheon of saints in the Roman Catholic Church, will undoubtedly bring about responses from those who would desire to leap to her defense and prejudge me with stereotypical denunciations for some presumed theological bias of mine that they might assume motivates me. My bias is towards the word of God, and the salvation that Christ freely offers to all who repent of their sins and believe on His name. So, let me begin my earnest rebuttal of this story, led I pray by a desire to contend for the faith once delivered to the saints (Jude 1:3). First, concerning her childhood fantasies and talks with her imaginary "Jesus". We know Christ Jesus through His word, through faith, and through the Sacraments that He has left us to receive grace from. We do not communicate with Him through an overactive imagination, nor through idols, hence the prohibition in the first two Commandments to have no other gods before Him, not to bow down to idols or images. This would include the images that Veronica was so fond of talking to as a little girl, and which practice she apparently continued with well into her adult life. This practice has been imitated in our modern times with such books as "The Shack", which takes the reader into an imaginary fantasy land of supposed visits and chats with our Lord in an informal manner. The word of God says that we are to be zealous for the truth, using the word of God so as to be "Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;" since "the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;" 2 Cor 10:4-5. Entering into these encounters with a Jesus of our own making, of our own imagination can lead to demonic encounters with a spirit that represents itself as Jesus, such as the encounters that various heretics throughout the history of the church have experienced, such as Joseph Smith, Swedenborg, and Sun Myung Moon, who all believed that they had genuine encounters with our Lord, and received this false spirit and promulgated their false doctrines, to the damnation of their souls and the damnation of countless other souls who followed their teachings. It is in this regard that I am concerned with the promulgation of the teachings of this woman, and much worse, the veneration and prayers that are offered up to her instead of to the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob and to His Son Jesus Christ, to whom be all power and honor and glory, now and forever, Amen. My second concern involves this woman's attempts to atone for the sins of others through inflicting suffering on herself, when we know that "when Christ had offered for all time a single sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God, waiting from that time until his enemies should be made a footstool for his feet. For by a single offering he has perfected for all time those who are being sanctified." Hebrews 10:12-14. Jesus, the Lamb of God, slain by God's providence from the foundation of the world, innocent spotless Lamb offered for the sins of mankind, the only One worthy of our praise and the only one worthy, because of His virgin birth and sinless life, to be a sacrifice for our sins; sins which no frail, sinful human is worthy to die for or atone for. Only Christ, only His blood as the perfect Passover Lamb can cleanse us from our sins. At 39:04 in the video she supposedly hears from the Lord, "Who wants to complete in himself what was missing in my redeeming sufferings?"; she answers to the statue of the crucified Lord, "I will be your comforting and redeeming Veronica. I will give my blood instead of yours" for the salvation of sinners. For any human to assume to take on that role is the height of hubris and near blasphemy, attempting to take from Christ some of His Passion and glory, "Now the Son of Man is glorified and God is glorified in him." John 13:31, as if the perfect sacrifice of the Son of God was not enough to atone for our sins. Indeed, what hubris, what unbelief, what utter conceit to believe that she could atone for the sins of others, when the price had been fully paid at Calvary. My third concern is her unhealthy obsession with self torture, her masochistic acts such as branding herself with a hot iron, which is so contradictory to any thing which we find in our Lord's instructions, who said, "Come to me all you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light." When the woman taken in adultery was forgiven by our Lord, did He then instruct her to go and torture herself with various instruments of pain? No, He freely forgave her and said to her "Go and sin no more". It was a simple commandment to walk in newness of life, keeping His simple commandments, "And this is His commandment, that we love one another and believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ." And there were other commandments, to remember the fatherless and the widow, to be charitable, and to forgive one another, but these useless extreme measures of self torture were never a part of our Lord's gospel, the "Good News". So this is my rebuttal. One other thing. Our Lord said that even the children of this world are wiser in their generation than the children of light. In this regard I want to quote a pagan philosopher, who even in his humanly wisdom understood the spiritual life in a way that showed more wisdom than the sad and mistaken way of Saint Veronica. In the sixth century B.C. there was a philosopher who arose in north east India, a prince of the Sakya clan who became known as the Buddha, but whose family name was Siddhartha Gautama. I am a follower and a disciple of my Lord Jesus Christ, but even in the sayings of this pagan philosopher I can see some wisdom. After practicing severe austerities for many years he came to the realization that these practices of self torture had no value in themselves to help in the spiritual life and he spoke to his disciples of the "Middle Way" (Sanskrit: madhyamā-pratipad; Pali: majjhimā paṭipadā). According to the tradition, in his first teaching (the Dhammacakkappavattana Sutta), the Buddha advocated a middle way that avoided the two extremes of self-indulgence and extreme asceticism, or what is known to us westerners as the golden mean, as Hippocrates advocated, "moderation in all things". So, this is my own two cents worth that I am throwing into the pot, hopefully to edify, to correct and according to scripture provided so that the man of God may be perfect (complete), thoroughly furnished unto all good works. Scripture comes from the CATHOLIC Church. It is a Catholic book. Heaven is Catholic. There is no salvation outside the Church. Jesus started only ONE Church and gave only ONE Faith, that all may be ONE. Protestantism is the biggest psy-op in history. Too bad you are so deluded 500 years later when there is plenty of Truth available.

@@jimfoard5671 you forget what the priest said in the last part of the video, its almost impossible to follow Saint Veronica because we have our own crosses to follow. With all your explanation you're limiting God only to do things according to the bible and no more. People like you are like putting God in the box. Why there is no penguins in the bible? but exist in this world? As the catholic believe if we put everything on the bible there is no on this earth can hold such texts and history that are so many in 1 book. As the Saints are the true and almost perfect disciple of GOD. Imagine this if GOD talks to you and he told you to do such things like St. Veronica do you have the will to do it? And its so obvious in the video in her diaries that Jesus Christ ask her if shes ok with it for the salvation of other souls and then she said yes and she start to experience some mystical experiences. It shows God dont take our own free will but it always depends on you if you will do it or not. If you watch the whole video bro its so impossible for you to talk something because this was studied and verify with scientific procedures. And there is no bias here especially on her story with all her pain she struggle. If you listen to the woman on the video the one that told that if St. Veronica got checked a average psyschogist the doctor will end up diagnosis her schizophrenia but its so impossible for a doctor to diagnose her becaus she is doing normal chores and routines. Even today bro in our society do you think if we die WE GO TO HEAVEN ? because GODS sacrifice is enough already, do you forget why Jesus Sacrifice on the cross? he sacrifice to open the gates of heaven because the consequence of sin is death. Is to give us the chance to have redemption on our souls so still .Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed-not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence-continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. Philippians 2:12. Its up to us our own redemption and a chance to go to heaven and if you argue our works cannot saved us because some verses said so but remember faith without action is dead. So next time dont point out some verses and make it into argument for those verses have own context in those chapters and doesnt apply on every scenarios. Plus you said its a masochistic acts if you watch the video its not MASOCHISTIC ACTS its said on that video she do that because she wants to know how Jesus feels and thats her decision there is no propaganda or motive behind why she do that, just pure intention.! And dont ever compare our saints to your own arguments about these fools human philosophers.

How glorious and unfathomable is the love of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and what a precious Blessed Mother has been given to us. St Veronica 's message is urgent for our times. The Catholic Church must not be afraid to proclaim her doctrines because these are the fullness of the Truth. Sadly in many Catholic places and parishes one hardly hears these things spoken of anymore. We must do our part to make the teachings of the Church known , especially by Catholics, that souls may come to know Our Lord Jesus and be saved and that they may know the great role Our Mother Mary has in leading us to Jesus.

Hello wake up Catholics this is why the Reformation came about to bring people back to Sola Scriptora & Tota Scriptora. I've noticed a big majority of Catholics don't even know what their own beliefs are & why. Sad to know that many Catholics think they are okay because they were so called "baptized as a baby. Dear Catholic you must know who Jesus is in order to receive his Holy Spirit to receive the FREE GIFT of eternal life. Not by works as your popes dogma proclaim. Oh another thing is Mary is Not the Queen of heaven nor was she sinless and a perpetual virgin.

I was fortunate to come across this video of St. Veronica. I only wish that the English sub titles gave us enough time to read them. The nun talked too fast and the words evaporated. However, I am still grateful for this find.

Saint Veronica is truly a great and giant saint, and my heart is moved with her story. Her life is an inspiration for us to get closer to God. With the current torment that the people in the middle east, and the whole world is going through we need to raise our prayers to Saint Veronica to intercede and pray for the conversion of the poor souls before their death. As a Lebanese myself I ask you to protect Lebanon and the innocents of the world from the devil.

Our Saints are the Holy Divine gift our Lord has provided us with so we can experience a little Heaven on Earth. They fulfill many purposes on Earth and in Heaven through their divine grace. They provide themselves and their gifts on this Earth, and the here-after through intercession as role models for inspiration and prayer. They're reminders of Christ, and his life, as they emulate his divinity and good deeds. They offer us holy spiritual places to visit for prayer and meditation. Most of these towns, villages, have cathedrals or churches built to commemorate the saints birth place or where they lived as a religious. Most of them have remains and relics preserved by the Catholic Church where people can view them, and provide a pilgrimage destination for the faithful.

We are only required to avoid sin, fulfill duties, keep the precepts of fasting and abstinence from meat on certain days, and patiently endure sufferings we cannot change. When the saints VOLUNTARILY engage in more ascetic practices, it is usually because of God's inspiration. We are more prone to self-indulgence, so to be more disciplined is a sign of Grace. Your other arguments are lame, too.
