I was just in Vava'u and swam with this calf. I was speechless, it was a moment I'll never forget. She is a treasure. You have outstanding footage of your encounter. I hope as well that the little one grows up strong.

We both got lucky, I heard she moved on with her mom. I wish her mother has some strong escorts to protect the young one on the way south! fingers crossed!

Breathtaking. A stunning encounter with this gorgeous little calf. Great captures both video and stills. This is the first year since 2014 that I am not going to Vava'u, Tonga (other then the Covid years) ... not a good year to miss 😞

If I can wish anything for my bday today, is that this gorgeous baby is here for each blessed bday here after... Nature is often too metal, especially when one stands out in such a way. I'd like to think THIS wise Mama 🐋 insisted her babe interact with humans, hoping that winning over more of us brings enough positive attention it's unique coloring attracts, to offset the dangers her babe will face once migrating open oceans of our 🌎.

So beautiful ❣️. I pray 🙏 this very special baby humpback whale 🐳 lives a lot ng, happy and healthy life. The fact it is albino 🤍 really puts this precious 💕 baby or any wild albino animal in serious danger 😞. Stay alert, stay strong, LIVE LONG✨✨✨✨

I would end up drowning because I'd be crying so hard, tears of IMMENSE joy. I LOVE whales, dolphins, and all cetaceans SO MUCH... Like SOOOOOOOO SO SO MUCH. My heart breaks when I think of the fact that any human being, could not only WANT, but actually FOLLOW THROUGH in slaughtering these incredibly magnificent creatures. They are such an amazing gift to this earth and we must protect them and their oceanic homes. We simply must. I won't be here in a hundred years, but the descendants of my life will be, and they deserve a planet and oceans that are clean, thriving, and balanced. They deserve a future where whales aren't endangered, hunted, harvested, or any such thing. A world where all living things are respected and protected in the integral role we ALL play in the circle of life.
