It's the most fun car I've ever owned. Proves Jay Leno was right when he said "It's more fun to drive a slow car fast than it is to drive a fast car slow". Fast enough to have a blast but not so fast that it feels like it's trying to kill you.

I'm 77 and still get in and out of my Recaro seated Abarth without too much problem. Twist to face away for car, plop your butt down, spin into face front. Easy.

lol the scorpion badge is bc its an Abarth. All Abarth 124's replace the Fiat badge with the Scorpion Abarth badge

Arjun Tarafdar I have an Abarth 124. The grill badge on this car is not standard. I have seen examples of the tow hook cover being replaced on the Fiat version ....on the other side of the grill.....but not on the opposite side as this is. I like it a lot and wanted to find out if I can get one for mine.

Don't know whether my comment could be useful, but this is not a Fiat, this is an Abarth, hence no sense in thinking about modifying a Fiat into an Abarth. Abarth 124 does not have much modifications - official ones, at least - available as it is pretty optimized by itself.

@@gabrielesala5880 You are partly right. The main differences between a F124 and an A124 are the Seats, the Wheels, the Front and Back, the Brakes, the Slip Differential and that bigger Turbo. My interest is primary in boosting it and give it a healty stance. And because it is mostly a Mx5 in Disguise there could be a massive potential for a beautiful slightly modded F124. But that is just my idea. Besides i prefer the looks especially Frontwise of the F124 over that broken apart Front that they gave the A124. 😉

@@derstrohmann7450 You can absolutely mod the 124 into being even a *better* version of the Abarth, don't mind people who say otherwise. The engine is the same, the only real important differences are brakes, exhaust, suspension setup and most importantly: limited slip differential. With an open intake and exhaust you can tune the engine to over 200HP.

I can't believe you had to do so much spannering to get this car from 170bph to just 200bph. No way am I ripping apart my Abarth engine and risk getting the wrath of my insurance company just for that small gain. I thought a simple electronic remap could achieve that gain? Also had some raised eyebrows when I saw this car was an auto???
