I have 5 beautiful babies, and three of them were also breached. Something that worked for turning all of them was actually putting classical music on some really nice headphones, and then placing the headphones on the lower part of my tummy. The babies naturally turned toward the music, and the music that was played was the same music that calmed and settled them after birth. ❤It's amazing! Praying for you and baby!

I can totally relate to Genevieve falling asleep in her little tent, that’s something I would have done when I was little (we called it “adventure sleeping,” e.g. sleeping anywhere that wasn’t a bed, couch or other typical sleep spot). So cute😂

We actually scheduled a version (where the doc pushes the baby to flip) and she turned herself just hours before that. She still doesn't like to be told what to do. LOL

My second daughter was also breeched at week 37. I had an external fetus inversion at hospital (i don't know how it is called exactly in English, but it is the procedure done by experienced gynecologist and usually successful). So I had that procedure, my daughter was head down for a day and then she flipped again (I felt her head pressing my ribs), I went to a hospital and they confirmed the breech. I had a c section planned, but at week 39 contractions started, I came to a hospital and doctors said, that my daughter is in correct position already and no c section is needed. I am joking, that my daughter is very stubborn and no doctor could decide for her in which position to spend the last weeks in mamma's belly 😀

It’s called a version out here and usually we will do it at 39 weeks and immediately induce after to ensure baby delivers head down instead of sending them home with a possibility of going breech again but amazing that your baby flipped back!!

None of my babies were head down by 32 weeks. My OB was chosen as one of the 50 best US doctors in Newsweek so only reason I trusted her and did this, but I thought she was insane. My daughter was still breech at 37 weeks. My OB said play music softly with an ear bud/headphone, with it in your underwear/crotch area and walk around all day/night (when home and not in public), while she was active. Yes, that feels silly and really stupid, but babies start to learn to go towards the music, putting head down. I did and after a week thought really stupid, but when I turned the music on day 9, she flipped right to it. It worked for 2 more pregnancies of ours after that, which we did it when not turned by 35 weeks. My OB said it worked so much for her patients over the years she rather try that than go straight to inversion (which is not fun) or c-section.

Love the week long vlogs!! My youngest was still breach at 36 weeks, scheduled a C-section for 39 weeks, morning of C-section I started having contractions, & she was no longer breach!! I couldn’t say when I felt her move, I think she did just a little at a time. Hang in there, try not to worry or stress too much, she’ll feel your anxiety, and she still has another seven ish weeks to start her decent. She hasn’t even dropped yet.

There is definitely still time for baby to flip! I just wanted to offer encouragement that if for some reason you do have a csection, that it is not as bad as you may have heard. So praying you can avoid it, but if you do need one don't worry too much 🥰 My first child was breech, so I had a c-section.

I just had a my first baby a month ago via c section because she was breech. I was stressed about her not flipping but it all turned out okay. The day of the scheduled c section was so peaceful and stress free. And honestly recovery has been really easy! (Taking care of a newborn- not so much 😂)

We have used double insulated stainless steel mugs for coffee for years and this keeps it hot for sooooo long.☕️❤️ I’m not talking about the giant yeti type- I’m talking about the one that folks use for wine. Hey Jess, I hope you read this...I am a L&D nurse and HIGHLY recommend you looking into Spinning Babies and the positions they suggest to help turn your baby. Also agree with a chiropractor! If not, you can talk with your doc about the external version if a vaginal delivery is important to you - OR I think a scheduled c/s is a wonderful plan too! Good luck to you! 💜

My second was breach. We were scheduled to have an inversion but my water broke 2 days before! Had to have a c-section and it really wasn’t that bad! The hardest part was getting out of bed and up from chairs! Lol. It will all work out!

I cannot recommend inversions enough to help babies get into a better position. I was a l&d nurse (I’m a stay-at-home mom now), and my last two babies were transverse at 37 weeks, google pregnancy inversion you can do them off your couch. I’m pregnant with my 4th, and it’s fun to follow your pregnancy. ❤️

my second pregnancy (also a girl) i was found to be breech at 37 weeks. i did some of the exercises to flip her but she ended up flipping on her own (at church of all places) at about 38 weeks. in hindsight, she was about 9 lbs at the time she flipped- so it is possible!!!

My friend recently had a c section. Her baby was breach most of then pregnancy and at delivery turns out the cord was around the neck! Not turning was a blessing because baby was born perfect. Don't stress, Jess! My last pregnancy was high risk and I had tons of ultrasounds. Twin B moved so much! They both flipped several times, but B would be vertex, then breech, then transverse. I didn't know what would happen come delivery day!! By the time labor came, everybody got in line.

Breech mama here! I had extra ultrasounds and my boy was still breech at 33 weeks too! I stared seeing a chiropractor who specialized in pregnancy adjustments and my boy flipped at 37.5 weeks. I HIGHLY suggest seeing a chiropractor, I fully credit mine with getting my baby to turn

My daughter, as well as my cousins baby, my neighbors, my aunt's, and 2 friends, were all breech on ultrasound done between 30-33 weeks. Most off our babies flipped on their own by 36 or 37 weeks, but both my aunt and neighbor’s OBGYN's performed successful ultrasound guided ECV’s. Around 4% of pregnant women at term (38-40 weeks pregnant) have a breech baby. Most babies will turn head down by 36-37 weeks. Try not to worry! Your baby has 4-5 weeks to flip, and I’m sure everything will be just fine. 💗💕

3 of 4 of my babies were breech at their last ultrasounds (I was high risk so I had extra ultrasounds, too). Chiropractic adjustments were the big thing that helped to flip my babies. Best of luck to you! Babies often turn, so don't worry!

I had my first pregnancy where she was breech very close to delivery and they told me to lay at an angle with my feet higher than my head and placed something that has music whether it be your phone or whatever playing very pretty beautiful music and set it on your pelvis area you know below your belly and so it it encouraged her I guess that or she was going to do it anyway but anyhow she did turn just in the nick of time thank God. Hi! Just wanted to share my experience! My son was breech too and he didn’t turn! My doctor scheduled me for a c- section at 32 weeks and told me if he didn’t turn by 38 weeks we would do the C-section at 39 weeks, and the night before our scheduled c- section I went into labour at 39 weeks, he was born at 4:14 am when my doctor came in at 7:00am she came to meet him and make sure we were ok! Don’t worry if, IF you have to go that way! I thought it was better than natural birth!🤷🏻‍♀️ healthy baby and mama is the goal!🙏🏼❤️ good luck sweetie! Like I said my experience and opinion!😉👍🏼

I'm about 2 minutes into the video and you're talking about the cookbook that you weren't sure about after you bought it. Just a thought for future reference, but the library is an excellent resource for trying out cookbooks before you buy them. I almost never buy a brand new cookbook without borrowing it from the library first and trying a couple recipes. It's definitely cut down on my dud cookbook purchases and supports your local library. Ours has an online search option so I can look for any books in our library network and pick them up at our local library. 😁 Now to finish the video! Lol!
