Jess, my cousin trained at Cordon Bleu in Paris and she told me that spices pretty much never go bad. So long as there isn’t any mold and they’re properly stored, they’re safe to use and consume. The only thing to keep in mind is that once the expiration date passes, the potency of the spice goes down significantly so you’ll just have to use more of it. As someone who is currently using spices from the 90s and is completely fine, you’re good. Lol. It’s still good to add the expiration date though!

If it’s too tedious to get out label maker for expiration dates you can just use sharpie on glass and use acetone to erase when refilling/updating.
@chaosbecomesher2 жыл бұрын

That egg convo was so funny to me. I’m a country girl that grew up raising chickens. They lay eggs regardless, if the rooster has fertilized them or not. But you’re kinda right in that a chick won’t form unless it’s fertilized and it’s been consistently kept warm enough for several days by being sat on by the hen. 😂
@melissamoeller96082 жыл бұрын
Ok, I know this is a bit gross. But, does this mean that the eggs 🥚 we eat are basically… the chickens period?? 😝
@KalenaO2 жыл бұрын
@@melissamoeller9608 Haha, gross and I get what you mean! I guess in a way, but to make me feel better I’d say no though . Chickens lay the eggs every single day. Thank goodness we don’t have periods every day. 😂

Nice & contained year round freshness! They have all sizes. I got the small one (in an older design so it was on sale) for $50 & they grow in size to the point you can have your own veggie garden indoors

Grain is not part of my diet (wheat - not gluten - is a HUGE inflammation trigger) so I found the Siete brand about a year ago. Did you know that Costco has the Wedding cookies, the Sea Salt Chips and the Churro chips. You have to try the churro chips, they're wonderful! Also, the bags at Costco are much bigger so the price/ounce is a lot better. Oh, Costco also carries the Siete brand [almond flour] tortillas. Siete brand for the win!

we have 10 hens and get eggs daily. sometimes they try and sit on the eggs but they will never hatch because we don't have a rooster. likely the eggs you buy in the store are fertilized by a rooster but are collected before they can be incubated for enough time for the chicks to develop and then hatch.

A tip for allergies (if you are allergic to pollen), find a local, native honey that is bottled in your area. Grocery stores usually carry them. Take a tablespoon a day for a few weeks. If you do that every year it could be a natural cure for your allergies! It works wonders for my boyfriend. He only takes it for two weeks and he is good for the rest of the year. Learned this from my mom who was a natural cure enthusiast.
