This week has been something else! I have been fighting a slight head cold this week and apologies if you can hear a bit of that in the video. I was hoping the War Thunder Patch would be out by now and we would get some new patch content out for you guys but another Dev Server went up and that delayed its release. As mentioned in the video a contractor of a ISP Company that I do not use came on my property, dug a hole for their lines, and sliced my internet & underground sprinkler system. That has been a fun ordeal trying to get somebody to take responsbility and cover this. Long story short, pending nobody steals my Fiber Line that is laying across the street I should be good to go here. I would love to know what vehicles you guys would like to see videos on? I hope everyone is having a great week and thanks for being such a awesome community!

I had an opposite issue with an ISP contractor and it was awful. They ran their fiber line directly through our main sewage line and left us without a sewer line for a week.

You are lucky it was a fiber line. Here in Dallas back around 2009ish a fiber company drilled through a septic service and then knocked a natural gas service loose from the gas main without knowing. They were using a boring rig to bore the holes through the ground. Gas started migrating up through the hole in the septic service and into the house through the sinks and toilets. The home owner and his wife were older folks so late that night the gentleman of the house went to use the restroom and when he turned on the light, just that tiny little ark of electric spark ignited the bathroom full of gas and blew his whole house to splinters in an instant. He was probably dead before he knew what hit him. It killed him and his wife. It remains one of the most tragic accidents in the utilities industry to this day.

The fact that 1. An internet company was working on someone else's house sliced YOUR fiber line and DIDN'T do ANYTHING about it, and then 2. Your internet company JUST LAID YOUR LINE ACROSS THE STREET!!! The absolute audacity of companies these days, lol. Isn't that technically illegal too? Just laying a line on a public street like that? Not covered or anything? But yea companies are usually very stupid and half-fast with a LOT of stuff, which is why I don't really have sympathy when the company suffers losses and what not. To me it's Karma for their stupidity and laziness. I do feel bad for employees though, unless the employee is just as lazy and stupid too...but majority of the time they're the ones who are trying their best to do their job while the Big Whigs blame them for everything... >.>

Not BO's since he wasn't even the one who wanted the cables to be disturbed to begin with. Still I feel bad for him, even the neighbors don't sound like they are really responsible. It's more this other company that cut into Bo's wires to begin with which you know dam well they will try to shift the blame on someone other then themselves. Because companies are *weak* now a days and can't just admit to a mistake...

it's honestly wild what americans are happy to put up with as long as their guy of president is deregulating and allowing all that shit to happen with consumer protections being complete ass. i recently had to call my provider and they were just talking like normal people to me, how they as workers are frustrated with their diagnostic tools not working at that moment and how they're going to figure it out for me. like they actually gave a shit about their job. didn't take too long before they called me back and that it was all settled, which it actually was.

I used to work for TX 811 and them stringing out that new fiber to your home isn't anything new. The phone company comes out and hooks you back up and then they pay a 3rd party to come bury the line at a later date. Usually two or 3 days. They can't bury it the same day as install because they haven't had time to call in a ticket to 811 to have the other utilities marked in the area of the dig site. One a ticket has been called in, a person like me will come out and locate any other utilities in the dig area so that the 3rd party working for the phone company can bury the new service. Basically, they just got you up and running as fast as possible and in a few days they'll be back to get everything cleaned up. Hopefully this helps make sense of everything. Now then. The turtles weapons were given to them by master splinter to contrast their personality Raph is hot headed and aggressive so he was given Sais, a defensive weapon Mikey is energetic and lets be honest had ADHD, so he was given Nunchaku, a weapon that requires great focus to wield Donny is a brain and always thinking and tinkering, so he was given a Bo Staff, a simplistic weapon and Leo was always cool headed and sure of himself, so he was given the Katanas, a lethal weapon, the use of which required you to think and consider consequence.

The best internet I ever had was at a place I used to live. Where due to arson the cable lines on the telephone pole got burnt. So the cable/internet company had to run a line from the undamaged part along the driveway and the lawn to the house. EVERY time they came out to get the line off the ground. The internet went out for a week because it was an old depression era house and nobody knew how the old junction box worked. Until someone that did know what they were doing just put the line back on the ground and got the internet working again.

In terms of who would be at fault, the contractor used by the ISP that dug down and hit your fiber line and sprinkler would be at fault for the damage done, but then again I'm not a lawyer

not a lawyer, but, the person with the shovel, their employer, and the person who hired them would be the people you would attempt to drag into court to recoup costs, then its up to a judge/jury to assign blame and compensation realistically though, its almost certainly 100% on the person with the shovel and/or their employer, because they are supposed to as standard operating procedure, call for a survey EVERY TIME theyre to arrive at a property so that everything underwater is marked, because it could be something more dangerous than an internet cable, it could be a gas line, or sewer, or water main, depending on the house it could even be the service lateral (main house power cable) at which point youve just cut a 240v 200/300amp cable, with a shovel, that you are now holding.

As a sparky myself you should call OSHA and get that company fined for all the code violations they did (the fine would be somewhere in the range of 20,000). They where supposed to dig a trench to put the fiber into. If it was my company they would have ben fired on the spot. The fact that he just left it across the street is the definition of lazy and I would never ask them to do any electrical work ever. So I recommend calling them when you have the chance, tell them Your calling OSHA on them for doing a shitass job and for the many violations of the code book their guy did. And if they don't fix it right away then call the city and make them fix it.
