Same here. I was born in '68, so i was pretty young then, but i clearly remember most of the things we did then. I even have a memory when i was only about 8 years old that took place at a bar/supper club. Some lady played the song "MAMA MIA" by ABBA constantly throughout the evening. It's a very hopeful and uplifting song, not sad at all... but maybe just the intensity of the emotion catapults us back to our youth when it was being played... amazing how that works.

@@brianperry4713 Thanks for the words, Brian. Sincere, kind words of sympathy (hopefully not empathy, though) help ease the pain quite a bit - more than you can imagine. I just miss Scottie so much. He had such a difficult life, and he just kept on going. Spend as MUCH time with your siblings as possible. Then go spend a little MORE time with them. Even just sitting around, watching TV, eating a snack. Anything. I cannot imagine ANYTHING worth more than that. PLEASE go see your siblings as soon as you can. I would give everything up, just to have some more time with my little brother. Losing a sibling is the family loss that is most often overlooked. This type of loss is one of the most painful there is. Your sibling is your partner for your entire lives. Until they are no longer with us.
