We still had a world of possibilities in front of us. The future looked like an endless stretch of highway. We believed we were never going to be ordinary, middle-aged, scarred by tragedies that would change us forever. Who thought our decisions would lead us to here & now? I miss the freedom of so many choices for the future.. The closest we can get to time travel is listening to the music of our youth.

DR I bougbt this album immediately upon release, 1979 was the most exciting year of my life. I grew up in Los Angeles, my carnal David Fuentes was the coolest guy to come of age with... It got fugly quickly, but it makes more sense now... Other 1979 standouts, Rickie Lee Jones Debut Album, Supertramp's "Just Another Nervous Wreck", Led Zep's "Fool In The Rain"... I was 15 going 35, looking like a 13 years old...

The Babys, Justin who ? The Babys music should still be played on classic rock radio. The Babys need to regroup & tour with the likes of REO Speedwagon, and the Babys hands down, have a zillion better songs than Styx. It's too bad the Babys name hurt them. I really think the Babys name was and is cool. The Babys always in my top 5 all time bands. Nobody from the 1990's to 2014 is even close.

This is my favorite The Baby's song: sincere, soft and makes anyone feel wanted. I saw this group in concert as the warm-up band for some major acid rock group. I left after The Baby's were finished. I don't care for acid rock too much. The concert was around 1978 in Indianapolis, Indiana at I think Market Square Arena. It was a great warm-up band concert. Mary Rose Walsh remembering the special song: "You"

not to take away anything from jonathan cain but corby is far more talented than the avg rockstar in many area, and he quietly slipped into obscurity when he was removed from the band the record company, he was a humble person but very charasmatic and talented and really the band was not the same without him, that never captured again what they had while he was with the band.
