I think it is much different when you are in the position. Like I believe, you can tell yourself that you are okay with that situation and prep yourself but when you are actually in it, it is much much different. I still like Elyse. Although i really like Rachel and i think she did an amazing job as The Bachelorette, I find her judgement towards Elyse a bit unfair. Rachel, ALSO was someone who wanted a man to fight for her , and his name was Peter. That was one of her biggest conflicts. Sh loved a man, who didn't seem to love her back. So if anything she should understand where Elyse is coming from, because that was her with Peter.

@Loved By You Rachel's criticism of Elyse was about her explanation in her interview about why she decided to leave. Elyse seemed to contradict herself and regret everything she said about why she was leaving. Rachel was expecting her to simply state in her own words why Colton and her weren't right for each other. When it came to Peter she told him basically they didn't want the same things and that's why it wouldn't work. She also stated that in her interviews. She also talked about breaking the pattern of being drawn into relationships where she chose people that didn't want what she wanted. Rachel made her decision and stuck with it (even when Peter asked to see her that same night, by refusing to see him).
