Oh man, so stoked we were able to ride Top of the World that day! And I think we took the best way down!

BCpov I'm planning to head on up to Whistler in a few weeks. Is top of the world doable for a blue trail rider?

David Powell hrmm. Maybe hit since blacks in the park first and then decide. You'll definitely get down, and you'll enjoy the view, but it might not be that much fun. It's kinda Rocky up there.

BCpov are there any blues from that peak, or should I just save it for a future trip?

TOTW is the only way down. It's a single black, mostly because of the first section which has a few steep rock roll-downs/tech turns. It's also a very long trail so if it's over your ability you will be walking for 1-2 hours I'd say. If you can ride Angry Pirate, No Joke and Duffman (single blacks in the bike park) then you will be totally fine on TOTW.

David Powell its all black up there. If you have good fitness, i might suggest lord of the squirrels, bit that is a massive climb. Blues all the way though.

Very nice riding, Brian. That trail looks amazing with the ability to push your limits. Hanging with Eric is a huge feat in itself. Them "Janky" trails with all sorts of natural tomfoolery really are the most fun to ride. Made me smile. 😎
