this may be a stretch, but I think the red "mischievous" light could actually be a _Challengers_ Light. it's seen with Seek in every encounter with it and their spiral symbol is used when modifiers are active, so maybe they test us on our treks through the hotel and mines.

And I like how it did the one sound before the light entity says something just like guiding light. Ngl, you should make voice lines depending on how low your time is For instance, he starts freaking out when the time gets low, says stuff depending on how low your timer is when you pull a level, drinking light vials, etc...
