Dead Wrong is a REALLY good idea. Though if it made a dummy of Spy for 3 seconds while Spy goes invisible it would allow for good outplays. While they are attacking your body you are about to backstab them.

Just an opinion, Spy's ultimate should be: Nothing Personal "I just had to shut you up" Spy fakes out the main target of the smash ultimate and ditches his revolver and knife. The enemy then takes a swing at them only for spy to gut them with the sharp dresser in the arm. With the blade locked in them, they drag them forward and put the ambassador to their head where the sound rings out with the crit effect and the player's body drops to the floor. Spy saying, "The moment has passed, back to work."

Like many have said, this moveset was really fun! I really like invisibility as a super power and wanted to see a mechanic centered around it, but you did so much more and it's beatiful! I especially love all the effects in this episode, they're great to see!

Really good translation of the character with that invisible dash and using the dead wringer as a counter. Personally, I would have had his dumusguise kit be a victory animation ir taunt where he looks like another character then reveals himself (could be like a face mask or mario ir sonething).

I have thought about this on my own alot and I personally thought that a cool idea would be to use the mechanic of arya stark from multiversus as her mechanic is that her attacks turn opponents around as well as doing extra damage to turned around opponents, but this is better than I could have ever imagined

This was a very fun moveset, it got the point of Spy across really well and had some pretty interesting innovation in terms of moves and he seems pretty fun to play as, also, the effects are on point in this episode, (Especially on the final smash) overall it's just really good, honestly sold me more on Spy than Heavy tbh.

Very fun design, and I think that Invisi-rush is a good solution for invisibility in a game where you can't see your own character after they go invisible. Was wondering how backstabbing would be handled, and having it just on the Smash attacks and Back-Air is a very elegant solution (I'd LOVE to land something like Spinal Strike on a teabagging opponent). Great visual gag for the FGC character bit, by the way. I love the idea of Spy having throws more suited for utility and can see Fleur Lance being very fun to use. Very glaring lack of Disguise Kit though. I understand something like that doesn't really work in a fighting game environment, but I would've at the very least included it as a taunt where Spy turns into the opponent's character and uses their taunt, or something. Also really think that the alts could use more color variety... I get that you want to stay faithful, but at the very least brighten/darken the shades of red and blue between alts so that the only way to tell two same color spies apart isn't their headgear. I'd even include the GRN and YLW colors from TF2 Classic, they actually look pretty slick. Great moveset overall, I can appreciate the work you put into this. 👍

This was overall a really fun moveset that I can see working great in Smash. One thing I will say is I was surprised by the lack of any reference to disguise. That’s often the first thing many people think of when they think of the Spy. You could do this either by having the Smash attacks transform him into his opponent to perform their Smash attacks or even simply have him transform into a character to perform one of their taunts.

Disguise is tricky to implement simply because you don't actually use it in any sort of physical way in TF2, it's purely an aesthetic change to allow you to bypass enemy lines. At most, it could be a taunt, but it already kind of is thanks to the Spycrab. It is definitely an aspect of Spy that would need to be handled carefully if it was added, same for the sapper, which is why I felt it was better to axe both and focus on the core gameplay loop and main weapons of Spy in TF2.

@@FeliciaFan_ Yeah I absolutely understand it can be a even more than a nightmare than Kirby's copy if they actually implemented it as anything other than a taunt or victory screen. Although the latter is making me imagine something. A victory screen similar to Piranha Plant using Mario. But instead it's Luigi & Peach knocked out on the floor while what looks like Mario is twirling a knife before transforming back into Spy just before his name pops on screen.

Ah yes, my most play class in TF2, and I still don't know if I regret it or not. But anyway, this was a well-made move set. The way you translated invisibility is very unique from other Spy move sets I seen and would probably work the best. My only gripe is that there isn't a taunt where Spy disguises as his opponent and does a mocking impression of them. Might be hard to do because you would need to do it for every character, but it would be a great taunt.

To be fair, this was the first time I had played Spy in well over four and a half years, so I wanted to warm up with bots before I started doing actual matches. I'll try to have less vs. bot footage whenever I get around to doing another TF2 merc in the future.

my one issue is you could of made a taunt of him using the disguise item to turn into his opponent and say something insulting about them with their own voice. ex: spy turns into Pit "look at me i'm a stupid angel who never learned to read" turns back into normal spy and into idle animation.
