It is beyond lovely, Jess, to see how quickly you’ve invested in this show. First Clone Wars Tuesdays were delightful, then Rebels Tuesdays were most wonderful, and now Bad Batch Tuesdays are just some of the loveliest things to spend time and share with you, Jess. It’s all so great!

I loved how parental Hunter is, it really shows just how quickly he took charge of that. Also I think you are right that Echo and the Clones in general would have a lot of struggle dealing with the Separatists. I like that they build on their growth as characters.

The fight between Bane and Fennec was GREAT. As were the clone tanks. You gotta love how paternal Hunter is after they reclaimed Omega. RIP Taun We though. So that planet was where they rescued the senator was in CW. And it was such a difference to watch the clones act as an occupation force

One thing I love about the Raxus episode is that the Senator is voice by Alexander Siddig. AKA Dr. Bashir from Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

It's good to see the Batch come to terms with the fact that their former enemies - the Separatists- are no longer the enemy.

I am living for these reactions (as always) but Bad Batch specifically. I’m so glad you’ve loved these characters so quickly and so much, just like the rest of us. Bad Batch is the best 😭

The personal victories!🙌 I used to get nose bleeds all the time, so I had to have it cauterised and I only get very very minor ones a few times a year and it's like ah is this how normal humans live?😅

I’m a fan of the second episode because I’m a sucker for the “old enemies become allies against a common enemy” trope and one of my favorite SW vehicles, the AT-TE Walker, gets an extended action sequence. Not as good as the Rebels’ scene when Rex’s walker has a fight with an AT-AT but still a fun sequence.

More use of walkers is never a bad thing 😊

The fate of the former separatist systems isn't talked about that much in the main movies or shows, but here we can see how sad the story of many of them actually is. Among the leaders of the separatist systems there where some very evil people like Count Dooku, Nute Gunray or Wat Tambor, but many of their followers were just common people hoping for a better future. Coming from small and not very important systems in the outer rim, they were neglected by the republic as it got more and more focused on its core systems throughout the centuries, so they would likely believe that this confederacy could offer them something better. With Dooku, they had a pretty calm and charismatic leader (not typical for a sith lord, especially for an apprentice of Darth Sidious) and they had some great propaganda. For example, saying "We fight with battle droids because we don't want to risk the lifes of our people" actually sounds kinda reasonable. So the systems were pulled into a war that many of them probably didn't want in the first place, and then, after the war ended and the empire took over, they were marked as criminals and their separatist past was used as an excuse to take their rights away. It was even told in one of the books that the discrimation of the former separatist systems was the start of the strong policy of racism that the empire had (while we normally see characters from various species in star wars, pretty much all important characters in the empire are human).

I don’t blame Echo either. He has every reason to be mistrustful of the separatists. And Cad Bane and Fenneck fighting is always fun. And Omega taking the initiative to get herself out of trouble. Little hints of what she’s like in later seasons. It’s so funny watching this with thr show over. And that’s why I say it’s more than OK to love Crosshair. I sure do. He needs love.

Really looking forwards to your 11+12 reaction. There's a lot of fan pandering in this show bringing back characters -- Dume, Bane, and Shand are just the tip of the iceberg.
