Omega: so, which Jedi General did Rex serve under? Rex: * comes out of the mist, cloak rippling in the breeze, brandishing a blaster * Omega: Ah, yes, Anakin Skywalker.

I really loved that game but I think I loved force unleashed just a bit more than that game because of how OP Star killer was and the fight with Vader was a bit better in force unleashed but both great games but I never knew that they where the same planet.

Love that opening shot of a hooded Rex watching the squad in the bar. Intentional or not I see it as an homage to the scene in Lord of the Rings when Aragorn is watching the hobbits from the bar and all we can see of his face under is hood is his eyes

When Omega was talking about the lines on Rex’s face, she meant his wrinkles, because our boy Rex is pretty old now from the accelerated aging on the clones

Wrecker was attacked by a dianoga, a garbage squid. Luke was attacked by one on the death star. I think this is their first animated appearance, in official material at least. They’ve been seen in comics and games

Luke was grabbed by a snake eyeball thing, and that water was only knee high, no big creature was in there lol.

@@jonmercano1138 No it was just poor writing. Luke was literally just under the surface. I always say during that scene just wave your arms around Luke, they'll pop up above the surface and they'll know where you are. People like you who can't critical think or use logic should keep your mouths shut. Unless you like playing the fool.

Omega wasn't a created as a "daughter" to the Kaminoans. She was conceived as a safeguard in the event something happened to Jango Fett and access to his fresh DNA samples were lost...which is smart since he would die just a few years after she was created. In the time after Fett died, the Kaminoans used his remaining samples and ultimately started stretching what was left. The economical use of his DNA combined with the need to speed up the maturation process due to the war created clones that were increasingly lower quality. Early clones like Rex or Cody weren't just more experienced, they were biologically superior to most of the clones produced later. The idea with Omega (who was cloned directly from Jango the same way Boba was,) was to create a sample individual with the exact same biological pattern as the donor, meaning that clones developed from Omega samples would be as "fresh" and high-quality as those from Jango himself. This effect could be massively enhanced by changing a single chromosome and gender-swapping the Omega clone. By making the new donor a female, the Kaminoans could use her eggs as the primary donor material if they were willing to wait for her to hit puberty. I have no idea how many clones could be created from a single donor egg, but I'd be willing to be it would be quite a lot. A pubescent (or post-pubescent) human female usually has around 500,000 eggs during peak fertile years (typically between ages 15-25,) and if you assumed 500 new clones per egg, then you could produce 250 million new clones with high-quality DNA patterns from Omega. This all makes more sense when you consider that the Kaminoans believed that producing clones first for the Republic, and later for the Empire, would be a long-term and very profitable venture.

Don't forget Primate, Rex was promoted to Commander during the Mandalorian mission to capture Maul, because Ashoka wasn't technically part of the Republic /Jedi military.

Interesting that you mention that. Didn't really thought about it before, but if Omega didn't have the chip, she should have Jango's aggression from the start right?

You nailed it with the takeaway about Omega. Albeit in a more optimistic light than how I would say it. The series could do so much more if she weren’t there. But it seems like Star Wars has hitched their wagons to babysitting premises. I know you plan on watching Boba Fett and Kenobi and I won’t try to sway your opinion. But was was not a fan of either. And I say it as a fan of the characters.
