Eh, shoving them into a human world rather changes the entire dynamic. If we all grew up with talking animals, everything would be RADICALLY different. You can't even begin to comprehend how having multiple high-functioning sapient species would have altered the entirety of human existence. I like to point to "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" as one the single greatest examples of seamlessly melding bizarre life forms into a human world, to the point where it really did feel like it was a 'natural' world, one that had the feel of something which existed on its own terms. That movie made their cartoon-reality fusion world feel 'lived-in' and genuine. That's a level of storytelling and artistic subtlety you don't find often anymore. To get to that point the writer of the screenplay really needs to understand the fundamentals of how everything plays off of everything else. Nothing in a living, breathing world exists in a vacuum. The more prevalent something is, the more impact it's going to have and lend shape to everything else. Only when you grasp that instinctively can you write a natural-feeling fantasy world.

10:00 if you are intrested in a pretty cool Dreamworks Show i might recommend Kipo and the Age of Wonderbeasts. It´s about a overoptimistic character on her journey to find her family and bringing humans and animal hybrids who are now populating the world together while doing so. Also it doesn´t go overboard with the "You should redeem everyone" message Steven Universe had despite the main characters naivite and believing in the good side of everyone. The action is pretty good too

I’ve been a fan of this series since Book 7 and the main thing I love about it is the story just completely changing. The first book is about breaking dogs out of prison, and the 6th book takes place in space. Book 8 is about how Mr. Wolf and the gang get superpowers, the plot is just way different in each book, which adds to the stupidity.

How to train your dragon was also a book series, but I feel that they took some creative liberties into making that trilogy. The new show Dragons: the nine realms looks to be another F&F: spy racers/Jurrasic Park: camp cretacious lookalike instead of what they've been giving us for years through riders of Berk and race to the edge, kinda sucks TBH.

I'm sold. If there's 2 types of stories I really like, it's absurdity in a generally grounded world and emotional redemption arcs of "bad" people, and this series has both!
