Ive heard the former head of High Performance at St Kilda Matt Hornsby talk about how he reckons the list has been a long way behind where Simon Lethlean thought it was and when he brought it to his attention Hornsby was told his services where no longer needed not to long after. He says the players almost couldnt be fitter, the list was just a bottom 4 list. Hornsbys replacement, Nick Walsh, also just so happened to be a good Mate of Lethlean with next to 0 previous experience. St Kilda has been under severe mismanagement for years and are only starting to get better now.

It seems like someone is continually looking to make a story for a coach to come under fire. Saints list is definitely bottom six. Last year was an over perform. Eagles with Allen, Waterman, Reid, Barrass, Gibney, Duggan, Ryan, Hough, have a better quality core to build from to put it in perspective, and Saints aren't a club that can afford to*ank by playing too many talls.
