The BAD PARTS of the BMW 330e Plug In Hybrid M Sport (2022 G20)

I was expecting to hear things you just can't get in a G20/G21 (Touring is actually G21, not G20), but this video is just listing things that weren't specced on this particular vehicle and that you can absolutely get if you just spec them in when ordering... I think the only valid point was the touch screen missing due to the component shortage - however, I believe even that could've been specced in if you wouldn't mind waiting a while longer.

I'm waiting for my 330e. Got the Touring with xDrive and M-Sport. Thankfully mine is equipped with all these things you're missing but you are right, it's quite ridiculous that these things are not standard. Same with my current Audi, it's really bare bone unless you tick the extra boxes.

Love the videos on the 330. I took delivery of my 330e X drive touring Pro last week and love it. No complaints at all. Only point I would make is , having down sized from a big 4x4 with electric everything, electric seats add a lot of weight with all the motors so I'm happy having old school manual seats. Looking forward to more from your channel

I've heard but don't know if it's true, that manual seats can get one cm lover that electric? For me the siting position even with manual seats is a bit high. About the heated steering wheel, I usualy use the preheat function for the car and don't even use the heated seats and heated steering wheel, but I do have them (preheat function also heats up the steering wheel:)).

Hi, I've just picked up a 2022 330e touring from enterprise while my 330d goes for bodywork repair. And I also noticed, it hasn't got electric folding door mirrors either. Seems a good car though.

Hi, for all points except the touchscreen, you just didn't pay it expensive enough! ;-) I'm joking easily as my own 330e Trouring xDrive doesn't get either the electric seats (even not heating ones), confort access nor heating steering wheel. For the touchscreen, that's just bad luck, due to component shortage. I believe situation differs from one country to another; here in France I believe it's still available. Now some recomforting thoughts: - without electric seats, my wife does not drive it as often as she used to drive my previous car... ;-) - more seriously, air conditioning or heating the car before departure while the car is still plugged in is a relatively good compensation for heating seats/steering wheel. It's even a good match for the heating windshield of my previous car. - Confort access makes the car much too easy to steal. Honestly, I was quite frustrated to have no choice but to get it on my previous car. - as for the 360° cameras, I took them as an add-on. It's really nice for easy parking. So yes, these cars are expensive and the list of options is never ending. But at least, you can chose and select only these options you really want, without buying things you don't care about. Or nearly. I could'nt actually avoid the powered trunk; really how can someone find that practical?

I had the 530e touring from BMW and due to whats going on in the world although it was a M sport, the car was lacking so many features from gesture control to wireless charging (things my 2020 X3 has)

If you want electric seats you just select that option when ordering the car. Not that difficult really.

Hi mate...try the link below....he had a 330e saloon and averaged 3.5 litres per 100km over a year....that's 80.71 miles per gallon!!!!!!Brilliant init👍

I have to be honest I've noticed BMW have become very basic unless your buying a top spec car, I.e M3/4 or X3M ect I've owned BMWs for over 10yrs and won't be buying another new one. Everything is an optional extra and some which used to come as "standard" whilst the prices have hiked dramatically yet come standard with less. Other brands seem to be far more advanced, on the other hand I think BMW have made a huge mistake with there new grilles on most models, and there electric models should have been made to look more like the petrol/diesel alternative. I'm pretty gutted that BMW have gone the way they have, but for me I definitely won't be buying a new one again.
