Best bad plus song ever. Got me into jazz. It’s bloody genius.

@@robertnettleship5467 Me 3, I didn't care for jazz that much. Then my roommate recommended this to me after listening to me play Andre 3000's cover of favorite things on repeat for like an hour because he got tired of hearing it, lol.

My favorite memory of this song: Watching them play this, mid set, in an intimate outdoor space. My friend got to see them for the first time, and the entire time they played this song she was leaning in harder and harder going through every wave of emotion. Their rendition of this song that day gave was so perfect, we all gave them a standing ovation during the middle of their show. I will never forget that feeling and that day/night.

I love how the piece starts out simple with soft dynamics and just builds in complexity and volume throughout.

Astonishingly great writing. So logical and lyrical. Builds and circles back to a stunning crescendo. I love this.

Man, I miss Ethan. New lineup is a great refresh, and nothing against Owen, but Ethan's style is really what made the piano era of Bad Plus.

Just saw them in Davie FL. These guys (all three composers) are amazing together. This composition is one of my favorites. What is it like If you listen without letting your mind rest on anything (like the tendency to anticipate melody or structure)? It is like a meditation for me......
