You're a Chapter Master, are tasked to keep a large dangerous area. Your chapter pummels everything and everyone to submission and compliance. You ensure the area is defended, well managed and optimized. Who would FAFO with Space Marines sitting right in front of you, looking in your eyes, while doing your job? There are worst master over there. And the neighboring -parasites- former manager & nobility, who couldn't take care of their own defense, are offended and go full Karen. Even the Inquisition was like, "Petty squabbles, nah, not for us". Surprisingly, Lufgt was moderate, reasonable and even followed all the official procedures with official petitions. The Imperium shot itself in the knee ... again.
