A lot of KZbinrs do sponsorship stuff, but you knocked this one out of the park. Pretty sure the overlords at LG are pleased with their investment, they should be. Brilliant robot!
@vincierobotics86075 жыл бұрын
most KZbinrs would just mention the product at the beginning and at the end of a video but he made a two-part series building a robot practically from scratch!

I wonder what parts of the agreement came from LG and what parts from James. If it was some PR person from LG that started it, they have a keen eye for promotion. Also note the general lack of dishonesty.

@@Marci124 may I ask how is he dishonest .

It would be cool to see if you can tune the PID controllers (proportional gain perhaps?) to increase or decrease the back and forth oscillation frequency when there are no control inputs. You could use a mic with some DSP to find the beat, and have it rock back and forth in time to the beat!

Dear James, great fun build and video- The many great responses is really encouraging. Absolutely enjoyed the magnetic arms and panels! Have you reached a criteria limit in your brief from LG? Is say, the idea of animating with interchangeable arms and getting the 'hands' to actually function with greater practicality perhaps wirelessly something you'd be interested in developing and packing with more servos and electronics? Would that be too much over engineering? Whatever you decide to do there' something really appealing in this project as it stands of course! Thanks mate for sharing as you do! Is inspiring. Traditional greetings from the Cape of Good Hope peninsula SA

It's by no doubt an awesome balancing robot and I had fun watching this and the previous video but there is one thing that bothers me: Why did you use an ARDUINO MEGA for just a remote control??? You could have used an Arduino pro-micro or even an ATTiny based controller. I can see that you have a good budget and good tools so you are not limited, but despite that it bothers me.
