Marketing toaster here! Something I learned in a campaign college class is that commercials do have a higher volume so that the information is attention grabbing and there is a sense of urgency! The commercials during Super Bowl, Oscars or popular network tv shows are the most popular time slots and always have commercials that are louder than the program😅

Jackie! That's an actual problem with streaming services and it's super illegal that ads are louder than the show. You can file a complaint with the FCC but you have to remember the show and commercial break and company of the commercial I think to write the report. I've filed one before because when I watch tv at night the commercials literally wake me up. I hate it!!
