In 1973, it was not unusual to see Army National Guard troops with long hair. Many joined the guard to avoid service in Vietnam but by this time, combat troops were already out of Vietnam. Many national guard troops by this time were just putting in their time until discharge. This film made National Guard troops look as subjected to poor leadership and poor morale.

Honestly wasn’t too into the movie but the final 20 minutes are great
