I watch this video every few months, when I want a smile. As a die-hard fan of the comics over the cartoon, Snake Eyes and Scarlett being together rather than Duke and Scarlett does it for me. Hasbro released a new six-inch figure line of Joes, and Gung-Ho has a close cropped Mohawk and handlebar mustache! The designers paid homage to this through the figure!!

Meanwhile, Storm Shadow did everything right but was condemned and exiled. What the hell, Arashikage Clan? And what the hell, Paramount? That movie was one hell of a way to completely destroy the titular hero; I'd forgive the other two movies just because of what the Snake Eyes movie did to the character in his own origin flick. I know how films tend to stray from the source material, but this one was a complete bastardization of everything that Snake Eyes is. That wasn't him at all in that movie. As Vito Corleone puts it, "Look how they massacred my boy."

2:24 Zartan's scene is actually really sad because the two guys singing (Ripper and Torch) and the guy playing the drums (Buzzer) are his Dreadnoks. When Zartan is wondering who he is and if he has any friends, his own men are not only singing about what he really thinks about himself, but what he thinks about them too. 😢
