I think that is exactly what happened . We have had a few games where we did the same . Jumped out to a lead and took the foot off the gas became predictable and paid for it with 3 Ls . The Colts and Steelers games are ones that come to mind. It happens , it’s the NFL but one thing I do know is the 9ers are still top 3 most dangerous teams when playing up to the potential. Very few picked the Ravens to win this one including me. This was a really well played game. Ravens D stepped UP a level last night. That looked an awful lot like the 2000 defense. Opponents will make some plays but the D DOES NOT STOP. For example….Hamilton was pancaked with an offensive lineman landing on top of him…but he still got up and snatched that tipped ball out of the air for his 2nd pic of the evening. That is Ravens defense this year….it has been building for weeks and now they are absolutely dialed in.

For 14 weeks every pundit said the same thing: "Oh, this team has more tape and they're professionals and they'll figure out what to do to beat this defense". And each week the Ravens owned them. So finally an announcer who had been an all pro defensive player, said: "Enough. I've been down on the field. It's VERY different than how things look on tape. These guys are faster, and they hit harder than most NFL players have ever experienced. So all the watching of the tape goes right out the window. These guys are just unstoppable." And I'm seeing a LOT of that in these 2023 Ravens. The Ravens have lethality all over the field. They are one of the best put together teams, if not THE best put together team, in the NFL.
